I really like the way you're portraying Draco in this fic. A bit unsure of himself, uncomfortable with his crush on Harry, but not really wanting anyone to notice all of this. The "accidental" kiss was too funny! Harry licking his lip afterwards...mmmmmm...that was nice. =)

I hope that Harry keeps his distance until Draco can grow up. How immature can he get? He knows who his benefactors are but can't appreciate it? He needs a reality check.

Your Draco makes me squee. Honestly. He's too cute. (Although Draco probably wouldn't appreciate that assessment) Except for that end bit. It is amusing to see him struggling between being inconspicious while still retaining his petulant pride. That "accidental" kiss was an adorable addition. I hope it doesn't take him too long to reconcile with Harry. The present was a wonderful idea. Especially so since you made it fit Draco like his old wand, in some respects. I'm glad you have the next chapter written already. This story detailing their growing attraction is awesome. I'm interested to see how you develop their relationship and what role everyone will take in this war.

I am so glad that I decided to read your story! I used to be addicted to HD fics and read them pretty much every day, but lately I haven't really had time. Today (since I'm taking care of my sick boyfriend) I thought I'd read a couple for old times sake. Yours was the first I read and I'm so happy I did. I think this was just the story to motivate me to get back into the fandom and start reading again. Thank you again!

(Chapter 2)

I liked this chapter very much. I liked Draco braving the wilds of the kitchen, and then sticking it out with Molly once he got there and found her in there. Loved it that she went into "motherly" mode and fussed over him a bit, made him eat, made him help with dinner. It was touching later, when he felt proud of his small accomplishment during dinner.

I like the slow build of thoughts and feelings Draco and Harry are having. Hopefully Ron won't have a complete meltdown when he realises their mutual attraction, and hopefully too Hermione keeps her nosey nose questions and comments about it to herself. I had a nice little chuckle over Harry thinking about Draco's wrists, of all things.

I'm really enjoying this so far. I like the way you have Draco feeling so uncomfortable, yet keeping himself under control for the most part. And Harry being enamored by Draco's wrists of all things is so cute! Can't wait for more.
