I can't say I didn't enjoy Draco getting a good scolding, even as I was flipping from Bloody to here, willing them to hurry up, smack him over the head, and go to the hospital already. lol

I really enjoyed Draco's words both here and in bloody when he clarified his need for Harry to Harry, telling him to shut up. Of course it does seem my favorite moments usually have some bad news or events following them. I'll also be looking forward to (if you write it) more of the conversation between Harry and Narcissa, as it was very sweet how she reassured him that he is family, and Harry being with Draco is just a mere bonus [in a way]. Great job with these past two chapters. ^^

I really enjoyed Bloody But Unbowed and so I was surprised when I saw this one about Draco's perspective. I have to say though, I was a bit edgy when I first started reading this. I wasn't sure about the way it would go with the other story since I found that sometimes a second 'version' can turn out disappointing. I am happy to say this one isn't one of those.
I think it's very interesting the way you can read them together, which is what I am doing. I keep finding things in stories where I think like 'I wonder what Harry's thinking right now' and you will never get to know, so it's great that I can just find the chapter and read that part and I'll be satisfied. It makes the both stories more clear and I definately think that more stories should be like this.

YAY!! I loved this chapter I have been waiting for Harry to leave for the hospital battle for a long time. I'm dying to know what happens next! And I just loved how you wrote Draco's perspective on this. I'm so used to seeing it from Harry's perspective its always a delight to read from Draco's. It's always so refreshing.
Thanks for writing!

Sweet! My name was listed on a chap!!

I can understand repetition being one of your worries, but each 'scene' doesn't read exactly the same(to me). The things that the different characters notice, and their individual interpretations of it, is of great interest to me. I'm a "people watcher", even if I don't like or understand them... I learned long ago that there are at least three sides to every story: yours or side 1, mine or side 2, and the truth. Plus, I love seeing the changes that being around each other is making on the Potter/Malfoy characters. I'm really looking forward to seeing what revenge Mom takes on Emptyweed. After his interest in her, I'd go for a permanent flatulence and impotence curse. That won't damage his healing power or his person, which would be Harry's objection points. And where Mom can get around Harry by saying she didn't cause him pain (like he did Harry, and like she thought Emptyweed deserved) because she knew doing so would upset Harry, she just caused the man major embarrassment for the rest of his life. Can't be around people while gassing and can't be intimate if you can't achieve erection. Perfect.

Thanks for updating swiftly, I really dislike WIPs that take forever to finish. Can you tell I'm impatient?

I'll keep saying it: I love your Narcissa to peices. She is too fricken cool. As far as the mirror goes, what I was talking about was the mirror they put up in Harry's room, but I imagine it is the same deal.

I really do love how Harry affects her [stopping her from inflicting harm on Emptyweed], more than how Harry affects Lucius or even Draco. It is fitting, as she is the one he most trusts and is bewildered by. And seriously? Her planning was amazing. I love how she detailed everything to work in multiple ways. Although I do wonder how it affected her that Draco pulled out the chair for Harry.

I think the whole flirtation scene was actually much more enjoyable from this side, as Draco found so many little things to appreciate of Harry's. And Harry's flirting with Draco by licking his hands was all the more adorable and enchanting to see as Draco reacted.

Although the following event was something I loved in Harry's POV--if only because we read his thoughts about his relief in being able to depend on Draco--it was wonderful how easily Draco kept forgetting his own hurt of Lucius' continued favoring of Harry, and just kept trying to focus on Harry, and all the things he adores about him. That he truly was putting Harry first in all regards, for sex AND a real realtionship is wonderful.
