Right, well it is funny that Draco listened to that conversation with Xavier (which was important), but failed to listen to that previous conversation between Harry and Lucius about Harry's rudeness helping Lucius since that would have uncovered something more important, a question plaguing Draco: one Harry's true perceptions of Lucius, that he is a patient not a plague. So it was quite sad for Draco to believe that Harry was being rude to Lucius because of old prejudices, when clearly he sees Harry taking nonchalance (about his popularity, and the war) and selflesness to a dangerous degree. It is funnier from this perspective to read Draco's hit and misses as far as making progress in this seduction goes. This next chapter will probably prove to be even more interesting as Harry finds himself cornered between Draco and Hermione. No doubt Draco will love to converse with Granger and Weasley. Nice job.

Sometimes I feel a pressing need to Smack some sense into Harry, other times it is Draco that needs both the smack and the sense!

From these scenes in Draco's view and the same in Harry's, it's kind of clear that Draco has no clue about what Harry is really about. It helps me understand why it took until Harry pointed everything out to Draco near the end of 'Bloody, but Unbowed' that Draco actually got why things bothered Harry or why he did the things he did. Also the 'sacrificing' thing that Draco concludes in this part while Harry is with his patients, is almost on the right track but with different reasons, because isn't Harry trying to prove himself because everyone he works with wants him to fail. To me the reason Draco thinks that it is a sacrifice to care about others is because of the 'family' rules, he wasn't raised to 'sacrifice' for anyone but the family. But he also thinks selfishly, when he compares the girl trying to master potions to Harry, and wonders why the girl doesn't think of what happens after her mother dies, and doesn't think that it would hurt worse for the girl in the end if she didn't try to help her mother anyway she could. Also doesn't he admit to Harry later on, for 'small conversation' that he wanted to become a potion master in memory of Snape and only later on remembered how much 'he' enjoyed it?

Now it makes more sense about why I was thinking Draco was acting so . . . stupid when it came to Harry for so long. lol It's very clear that Draco is use to judging other's based on his upbringing and not thinking outside of the 'box' when interacting with those that don't live for 'family'.

(Must provide upkeep for Declaration Of Love ;p) I really REALLY love your Narcissa. Far too often she is made out to be the consumate bitch or a fluffy airhead. But it takes brains and gumption to survive as a family when the Dark Lord is doing his damndest to take everything away. You are doing such an incredible job with her role!

It's so funny, because I find myself re-reading Bloody and then hastening back to this story and grinning like a maniac. I'm glad you posted these stories seperately, as together they would be too...overwhelming, and would lose something, I think. But this is just fabulous! Is it wrong that I am looking forward to the internal argument Draco has that gets him so worked up when Harry disappears to the hospital?

Loves!

First off I love everything that you've written, mostly it's because of how you write Harry. You stick to a basic concept of what you think Harry's character is like but it isn't the same in each story; it's ever changing. Same with Draco but the differences are more clear.

I also like that you are writing a 'different' side of the story. It makes things more clear on the Malfoy's point of view. It amuses me mostly because Harry thinks he's making a point but the Malfoys don't get it at all; mostly because they think differently then other people and don't think to think outside of their 'family' box.

And now I can tell why Narcissa doesn't show much . . . would care be the right work, for Harry. Or understanding, it is very clear that 'family' means something differently to her and what she wants for her son is different as well. I kind of laughed when she was thinking that Draco won't have the proper learning because he'd only have to charge in to win Harry's affections, when in fact he is going to have to learn to be genital and well negotiative to even get Harry to understand his intentions in the first place. Then he has to learn better patients to get Harry to given and feel the same.

Right now Draco has a better idea of what Harry is really about but he's still way off. And if I can remember right from Harry's point of view Lucius doesn't get it at all until the very end lol.

I can only imagine how hard it would be for Harry to ever understand how to read Narcissa's moods. lol I had never caught in that other story how Draco knew the reason why Harry wasn't able to get along with Xavier. Afterall, in Bloody But Unbowed, we were suppose to assume that Draco never followed Harry. So that comment he made here to reassure Harry was an interesting one to find. Especially all of these little explanations of how Narcissa suddenly keeps appearing. Really making this out to be a fun read. Nice job. :) I suppose, since this has popped in my head, the next scene I'm looking forward to is really a small one, but bound to be funny. Draco and his little headache curse...oh. and also his conversation about purebloods with Harry. Especially so since this story really tells how lenient pure blood families are, while still being structured about the whole issue. As for the "Heart's Blessing", so ANYONE could have been invited into the Malfoy family with that particular spell? That's a bit troublesome and sad that someone who had been thinking selfishly while applying the spell could also gain those things that Harry gains. I thought Harry's genuineness had been a deciding factor, not a bonus.

Thank you so much for writing my favourite of your stories again from the Malfoy's perspective. I imagine it to be much more difficult from this side. It seems easier to me to imagine Harry's mindset than the intricate ones of a pureblood family like the Malfoys. And you are doing it so well, plausible and enthralling.
Oh I love it so much, each update gives me a high. :)

Hi, I have just discovered this fic after weeks away.
This has been an marvelous discovery.
I admit to having adored this first one, but reading it from a different prespective is proving just as wonderful.
Can't wait for the next chapter.
