I enjoyed both your stories immensely. It was a wonderful treat to find such wonderful depth of character and sheer thoughtfulness as the many threads came together. Thank you very much for sharing! I do look forward to any further works you may decide to post.

very well done! touching ending. Draco does know how to except defeat, amazing. took him a long time to figure out that you can't mould people.
i liked it quite a bit, what's your next one? email me wingshinigami@gmail.com

Its fairly sad and coincidental that today is the first day I decided to read Invictus. Another author, Mephistedes, around the same time you wrote Bloody and I assume for the same prompt, wrote 'Out of the Night that Covers Me,' for the same poem. I hope you don't mind if I rec this. If you do, my email is callistianstar@gmail.com, and my lj is the same as this username.

Which is why I can say that really this story, along with Bloody but Unbowed really captures the inspiring nature and life of that poem. You executed both point of views really well. These last two scenes with Draco were delightful. I like the way you described Draco's own convincing to himself. Even more that he acknowledges how he was changed by Harry. I also loved the that you incorporated that one line (And Harry had somehow carried that mass of scar tissue within his soul and not bowed under it.) and that Draco took Harry's experience, even incorporating himself into that scenario with his childhood in Malfoy manor, and found himself speechless. Wonderful job with these two stories.
