Hey, that was really nice! But to be honnest, a drunk kiss making Hermione react so heavily? Especially if it wasn't even him who initiated it by what you wrot? Nah, that is no reason to end an engagement at the wake of the wedding! I mean she has obviously got the right to feel betrayed and angry and sad... But I guess that a kiss is really something you can forgive. Especially under these circumstances! Keep it up, waiting for more (and hoping for reconciliation ;-))...

I have often thought that writing fanfiction can have a cathartic effect. Hope all's well with you. And, I wouldn't be too hard on Draco...it was just a kiss, after all. Or is the kiss a metaphor for something else? Hope not. The way you've started this story, they really have a deep abiding love as the basis for the relationship. Update soon. :D

Oh darling that was so emotional and heartbreaking. Its amazing how ten little seconds can change the entire course of someone's life. Poor Hermione, I just want to wrap her up in hugs and tell her she'll be ok! And Draco, i just want to slap him upside the head for his idiocy. And damn Harry too, for not keeping a better watch on his clearly ridiculously drunk friend!!! Men.....Hmmmph!!

I really enjoyed what you have written so far. And I felt the tear at my heart imagining what it was like for Hermione to hear Draco tell her what happened. The only thing that I struggle with is her reaction, especially when she saw how shite-faced he was. If he had slept with this mystery girl, I might buy in to Hermione ending the relationship (where I get the sense you may be going but I could be wrong), but one kiss in the context of both their drunkeness? I am having a harder time buying it. Also, I think that as a Slytherin, he could hide his reaction a little better. That having been said, you are a great writer, and I always enjoy reading something that is carefully editted and proof read. I will keep reading this story to see where you go with it. And, it is your story and these are just my opinions...take them as you will.

How the heck am I supposed to keep up with my reading when you keep churning out these wonderful stories??? LOL You (and your fellow co-horts) are going to be the death of me. :) What a brilliant start, teasing us with a little back story yet we already have a hint of the disaster that's to come. Being a little older and somewhat (cough) wiser now, I know there would have been nothing in that kiss and just a kiss is not necessarily a sign of far worse to come. But Hermione, at the age of your story would have been absolutely devastated, not to mention betrayed by a kiss that had far more connotations in her mind than whatever really could have been. And the fact that Draco was twisting himself into knots over it shows even more the feelings and still learning processes of youth (Gawd, now I've made myself sound about 100). If they had a bit more maturity on their side, that kiss would have meant nothing (heck you're supposed to flirt up a storm on your hen's/buck's night, aren't you?) But with this story, you've made it so much more. I look forward to the next installment. :) (just bear with me while I catch up on everything else).
