I laughed and cried so much! I loved it!!

Oh. my. God. What an ending. Let me tell you somethin', darlin', I came THIS! close to killing when you offed Harry and Draco almost killed himself. I thought "WHAT are you thinking?!?! How did I miss a character death warning???!!!!!" And then I died a little from happiness when Harry came back. That's what I had been hoping for. :) Absolutely AMAZING story. Beautifully written. I'm currently in the process of reading pretty much everything you write, but this is likely to be the only review you get from me (I'm crazy lazy). But I just wanted to let you know how moved I was by this story in particular. :)

I've just read this all the way through for the first time and have to tell you how fantatic it is. I admit, I very nearly had to come and hunt you down and torture you for killing Harry, but then he wasn't dead so I forgave you :D

You are very talented and I hope to God you never stop writing!

Wow. I was a little daunted by 42 chapters at first, but after sampling some of your shorter works, I reminded myself how much I prefer looooong fics, and just dove right in. I have to say I'm impressed. While most stories with umpteen number of chapters often come across as epic, yours stayed with more of the development of Harry and Draco's relationship, and it flowed so well it didn't seem that long, even though your chapters weren't short. Great job.

I hate it when the main characters of a story fall in love, like at first sight, when they've been feuding for years beforehand. That kind of animosity doesn't go away without motivation, without reason. True, falling in love itself can be described as 'unreasoning', but you still have to remove the main strife first, or the more tender (or just at fierce) emotions won't even be considered. This story had all of that; the eyes opening, soul-searching, and deciding that maybe what you want from life isn't on the path your on and it's time to make a change.

Wonderful story, sweet angsty ending. Loved it!

I was... sobbing. To say the least. When Harry died.. ergh. I felt so bad for Draco! But when he came back.. I felt stupid. :D
This is one o the greatest Harry and Draco stories I've ever come by. You are an extremley talented author.

That deserves five stars. you had me in tears. It was full of twist and turns with each new chapter. I loved it!! Well writen. I wish there were more. ah *sighs* all good things must come to and end.

This story is great.I'm very happy that I could find "Gilded Soul".

I did love this...I got to chap 41 and had to track the last chapter down on FF.net other day!

Im guessing the whole ashes thing was related to Harry being a Phoenix with his mark & his wandless magic...it was very clever.

I also love how it was complete! nothing worse than getting 30chaps into something and it never being completed
