I was "snuffling" around, just curious as to 'what else is out there', and quite accidentally stumbled across this most delightful tidbit of yours.
I simply adore your 'take' on Severus! Miracle of miracles, you've kept him truly in character, at least had HBP/DH not turned out the way that they did. You were quite right in that Severus wouldn't have used his position of authority over Hermione to bed her. Your line about her "not being my equal. But now you are", is PURE, honorable, most sexy, Severus Snape.
You also kept Hermione very much within character, and I love how she retrieved the virgin's blood. It was truly a very "Hermione" way of going about it--ever the researcher, ever the 'know-it-all', she would have just gone about it herself. You truly "nailed" that one, m'dear! *snickers*
Congratulations on a job well-done with this very sweet little PWP. I hope that you continue writing, my dear. You have a unique, humorous take on Severus/Hermione that I (for one) wouldn't mind reading a lot more of. This little tale left me with a smile on my grim face---and in such a good mood!

WOW!
This was... oh, I can't find words... Incredible doesn't do it justice! Fantastic isn't a good enough adjective! I think masterpiece covers it, barely.
I don't think I've EVER read a HG/SS that was THIS good! You brought out such a brilliant, yet simple plot, and it flowed perfectly from one scentence to the next. The plot was pure genious, you didn't have the cliche of Hermione having had a crush on him since 'forever', rather you created a slow-blooming affection that made sense! You kept Snape so in character that I don't think JKR would find a fault!
The little Harry/Ginny interlude was amusing and showed how their characters have developed; and you kept Ron out of the way without turning him into a villain or making him look an utter twit. Most of us are incredibly guilty of developing Ron's character into the rattiest of love rats or a fool that a court jester would laugh at!
The idea that the masters and apprentices give each other potion's gifts was AMAZING! Such a beautiful little idea, especially when you went into how Hermione had thought over what would be appreciated. Hermione's gift crops up regularly (guilty as charged) - but you brought fresh light onto a frequently-utilised plot device, and gave it that little bit of originality.
And the sex... Good God. I'll swap her places any day! lol! It was an odd first-time scene, seeing as he wasn't the first to enter her ("Fred" was); another well thought out plot device - it took away the pain and fright of losing your virginity and opened the door to pleasure. I also liked that you added the 'leaking' - people who write smut tend to forget that its a messy business! Someone ends up with the wet patch! lol! That little phrase added the third dimension and made it so very accurate and realistic.
... well! To say I was speechless, I think I did rather well in the review! lol!
