(Chapter 4)

NOOOOOOOOO!! Not Lucius!! That sadistic bastard!!! How could you do this to poor Sev!?

This was a very well written chapter as have been all the others. I liked it that Harry realised Snape was telling Voldemort what he needed to in order to make him still trust him, and not telling him because he actually was loyal to Voldemort.

Even though I dread the thought of poor Severus being handed over to Lucius to have his way with, I liked this part, and you wrote it very well. You did a very good job of portraying the evilness of the Dark Lord. Even though he's already punished Severus unmercifully with several rounds of Cruciatus, and even though Severus finally convinced Voldemort that he is indeed loyal only to him, which would technincally make Voldemort wrong in his previous punishment of Severus, does he apologise, or give him a reprieve? Certainly not. Instead he claims that Severus should have known about a plan that he was not informed of, and hands him over to one of his more cruel and sadistic Death Eaters. That was a nice piece of writing, a nice example of "damned if you do, damned if you don't".

I am very much looking forward to the next update. I hope it's very soon!

(Chapter 3)

Oh my God...*trying not to gush*......Oh hell!.....*gushing!*......That was awesome!!!! Seriously, that chapter was damned near.....no, it was perfect!

This is just everything I want to read about Snape and Harry. Nothing is sugar-coated, they are just themselves, completely in character, totally believable, and with a natural progression to the story and their developing relationship. The way you wrote them, the way they were driven to defend one another, the things they both said...just perfect. What I liked best, and this may sound strange, was that Severus left Harry there at the Dursley's. And it was right that he did so, because it was what he'd been told to do. Rather than make some rash and untoward decision to go against the Headmaster's edict, even though it was against his better judgement, Severus did as he was told, deciding to go and speak to the Headmaster instead. Excellent.

I can't for the next chapter and more of your fantastic writing! If you have an update alert list, please add me! jillianetpr@yahoo.com

Please update very soon!

I *takes a breath* ... that is ... just amazing writing! Absolutely beautiful, and funny (in the right places) and just heartbreaking all at once. The last line of chapter two was such a perfect way to end it - a tiny lightening of the mood but such pain in Severus' words as to break a heart of stone.

Truly, truly, magnificent work, and I am eager to read further. If there is an update list, could I please be added? thispuppyissick@yahoo.co.uk

(Chapter 2)

Another nicely written chapter. I like how your'e keeping Snape to character and didn't have him suddenly go all soft a gooey in his sympathy for Harry. He can, of course, have sympathy and still be his intense and sarcastic self. I'm looking forward to what will happen next. Please, update soon.
