I've read thousands of fics, but Harry's hand making love with Severus' one is the most beautiful thing I've ever read. I'm totally in love with Sev and you describe his thoughts and his feelings in a marvellous way. And Harry...usually I don't like him very much, but this time I find the boy quite perfect. I love this story, update it soon.

(Chapter 6)
Firstly, thanks for the mentions in your AN's.
Secondly, wow....another fabulous chapter! The begining was heart-pounding as Harry reappeared in Hogsmeade with Severus, minus, thankfully, the curse that was thrown at them. I was glad you chose Remus to be the one that met them; he's always been a favourite character of mine, and I love the way you write him, keeping him completely in character. I was glad to see you explained the curse that Lucius Malfoy cast on Severus, how it was burning him up from the inside. Indeed, that would be enough to make the most stoic of men cry and scream. Nice job on that.
I was glad to see Harry speak up to Dumbledore in Severus' defense, glad to see him angry with him, realising the position the Headmaster has put Severus in, acknowledging Severus' right to do as he sees fit instead of allowing himself to be blindly lead by Dumbledore. Go Harry! This is such an excellently written and intriguing story, and I can't wait for the next update. I'm really loving this story!

Chapter 6 - I stand (well, sit, really) in awe of your writing. You had me on the verge of tears, and then, in moments smiling wanly at: 'Remus took a piece of chocolate from his pocket and offered it to him.' I was really expecting the next line to be "Here, have this, it'll help. It really helps."
I also liked how harry is changing - becoming more critical of Dumbles, becoming more mature, in fact growing into the type of person who could love Severus (*grins hopefully*).
Thanks for the response in the AN - made me feel proud to be mentioned - sad really! SP

(Chapter 5)
Oh my....that was harrowing. Thank God Harry was able to apparate Severus out of there.
I like it that you had Harry stop and consider his actions this time before blindly rushing off, having taken it for granted that the vision he saw was the truth. It was an excellent was of showing how Harry has grown and matured.
I loved the line: ".....but Snape really didn't have room to pity spineless heirs to grand fortunes at the moment."
I like it that your Severus sees Draco for what he really is and has been. Although I have come to be somewhat of a Draco/Harry fan due to some great fanfiction, the canon Draco was an arrogant, sneering, and yes, spineless, little snot and quite unpleasant, and I like it that you stuck with the more realistic version. I think that it is totally in character for Severus to think this of Draco. I've always kind of thought that Draco's relentless ass-kissing would have privately annoyed Severus to no end, and that he only put up with Draco and his other arrogant Slytherins to keep his spy cover.
I also like it that your Lucius loathes Severus. Although, again, I've enjoyed the many different fanfiction versions of Lucius, your version is the most realistic based on what we know of Lucius Malfoy from canon. It makes perfect sense that he would resent a half blood who was in such good favour with the Dark Lord, for all the reasons you wrote. Lucius would see Severus as usurping his rightful place, first in favour, within Voldemort's ranks.
"Slowly Harry kneeled down next to the man. What he saw took his breath away.
Snape was crying. He was *crying*
That was just wrenching....I was welling up myself. A few lines later you have Harry wondering how badly Severus must be suffering to actually be crying, which only adds weight to the previous description of Lucius and Bellatrix's torture of him, because we all know exactly how stoic Severus can be and is.
I liked the ambiguous ending to the chapter. Harry apparates away, with Severus, but sees the red glare of a spell as he does. Do they escape being actually hit with it? Is it possible for the spell to apparate with them, so that they'll be hit with it when they land in Hogsmeade? Will Severus survive? Hurry and update please! I'm dying to know!

Chapter five - Another gut wrecnchingly brilliant chapter. I loved the description of Severus crying (loved? does that make me sick?) as it showed just how hurt he truly was. I can't remember any other story where Severus actually cries, so bravo for taking the stand! More please! SP

Chapter three - Again, a beautiful chapter. I love the subtly shifting relationship between Harry and Severrus. It's lovely to read a story where they don't go from hating each other to humping within about three chapters!
And this: "Do you understand? Or shall I bring out the hand puppets?" - I did laugh! I had an image of Severus pulling out little felt hand puppets, one with Vernon's moustache, and one with a scar on it and going through what he expected! Of course, he'd do voices too! Please carry on writing! SP
