Beautiful, just beautiful, and very touching. Your story is amazing, having recently lost a friend, I can tell you that you capture grief very well. I cannot wait to see your next update, and I hope that you continue to write such amazing works. Thank you for this, it truly brought tears to my eyes for the first time in a very, very long time.

I read through this whole story in one sitting, after happening upon it by random. Extremely pleased with how well this all seems to flow together, and how believable it is because you didn't simply up and change the way that anyone behaves, persay. Instead, there is a moment of mirror from the books, and the events as you create them allow such changes to be made in such a flawless manner it is quite remarkable. Excellent job thus far. I look forward to reading what's to come.

Sorry I took so long between this and my last review. RL needed attending to (real life not Remus Lupin)and I only just had time to sit down and finish reading.

O' the ANGST! I love it. Harry is finally dealing with his friend's death. He's had to grow up even more. Life seems determined to thrust maturity on him, but then he does have a fairly heavy job ahead.

I like how situation is dictating any personality changes in the characters (unlike some authors who just say 'this is my way, deal with it or leave') as the story progresses. While you may have a preconceived 'mold' for them, characters often have to be broken down a bit so they fit into the mold comfortably...or believably is more like it. I appreciate believability with lots of reason to explain it. Relationships between people need work and coaxing, you can't just throw two diverse personalities together and not expect them to clash horribly. (unless that's part of your plot!) The author must be a master manipulator (a' la Dumbledore *snicker*) to twist and bend a plot in a masterful manner to achieve the desired goal. Sometimes it's easier to work a story plot in reverse: "'This' is the end, now how could it have happened?"

Please continue writing and I will keep reading. Excellent work!

Chapter 7

I just found this fic today and even though I'm not at the latest post yet, I felt compelled to review.

I have read hundreds, if not a thousand or more, of fanfic stories. I've slogged through pure drivel, flitted through PWP's and cried my heart out through long, angsty epics. (I adore angst, btw!)

I have to tell you I was impressed with the intellegence that this story is written. It has a plausable plot, there have been no unwarrented character bashing (thank god!) and character representation is of high quality. What really stoked this impromptu review was the fact that it flows so well, I was unaware of the passing of time. My coffeemaker turns off automatically after 2 hours and I hadn't even finished my first cup! (thank goodness for cup warmers *wink*) Kudos for you!

Now, while I believe wholeheartedly in Quality over Quantity, I love a long story. That it is of obvious quality, has me thrilled. Thank you for sharing your tale-spinning talents with all us lurkers on the web. With that, I'm off the devour the remainder. Yum!
