Finally, I have finished reading! I absolutely love this and I have just finished recing it.
I didn't really like the Fate personalities, but they where not a main focus so it didn't really bother me that much, however, I loved the subtlety of their presents like the voice that tells Harry to shake Draco's hand. Those moments were perfect.
And the friendship between Remus and Severus is wonderful, the development and results are sweet and funny. Possibly the best friendship I have ever read for those two.
As for Harry and Severus, I'm so glad they could have a happy ending. I've never cried or raged as hard as I did for this fiction. I love the guilt Severus feels for binding Harry to him and I love the wake up call he receive (and I do believe that it would have taken a life or death experience for Severus to see what he was doing was not to Harry's benefit). But their happy ever after it was got me the most. I do believe that Severus scooping out the raisins from Harry's oatmeal was an extremely touching moment that told me that they were going to be okay and that they had a future.
Thank you for writing such a lovely story.

Your story made me cry. Maybe I am not in my right mind (must be true), but everything in your story rang so true, so beautifully tragic... I really love what you made of the characters, their thoughts, feelings, beings were so well-described I couldn't help but reading the full story in less than a week (and I still have to go to college every day). So really, your story is a real masterpiece in fanfiction!
Take care of you,
N.

You are just amazing, I love people who write Snape the way you did, strong, proud, and secretly always trying to find is redemption. This is by far one of my favorite Snarry's I so think you and Tire Nog should write together, my goodnes the result would probably leave me unable to speak.
Thank you!
Thank you!

ok, just got finished reading the funeral scene again, and bawled like a baby -again-, forgot about how moving it was and what a horrible wicked author you were to make me cry like that. and it really was hermione's poem that set me over, it really is very poignant. ok, off to read more, just wanted to let you know, that even on another read through, it can still get to me

I have a request to ask of you. Out of all the fanfics that I've read here, I believe your writing style shines above all else.
Something I've noticed in Snarry fics is that Harry and Snape fall in love, but most stories gloss over the fact that Snape was a deatheater; that he murdered people under the instructions of the Dark Lord. So I was wondering if you could make a one shot really about that, about harry really coming to terms with the fact that Snape was a deatheater before he even worked for Dumbledore. I would like it to follow the same trail as Pains and Contradictions, which is really your best work, in my opinion.
I hope to hear from you soon!

I read this story until 4am and my eyes were too bleary to continue. Then I woke up and denied myself breakfast until I'd completed it. I am bookmarking this work so I can read it again later and revel in it's awesomeness. Thanks so much.

PS I am so glad I started reading this once it was already complete; I think it would have tormented me to have to wait through all the breaks.

Easily one of the best stories I've ever read on this site, if not THE best. From the moment I read chapter one, I was hooked. So beautifully written, such an exquisite love story, you had me on the edge of my seat, especially while Snape was denying Harry's love! I really look forward to reading more of your work.
