Thanks for the heads up about the chapters... I had real problems posting.
I have also been trying to join the forum since I started writing and it never lets me - anyone any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Excellent story neelix, I've enjoyed reading it from start to finish. I loved how Severus got her to finally listen to him and what a hot lemony scene.

wow, finished already? I thought this one would be much longer. Nice that they had that conversation -- ah, before the lemons this time!
And the epilogue was really sweet. I like that they had that closure with Lucy. Because he feels so deeply, it makes sense that he might still have that twinge of guilt. Love how you did that.
And I think I've figured it out: you love getting to the end, don't you! LOL
I do too, but I also like the journey. It would have been interesting to see what you'd have done with a few more 'developing' chapters in the middle.
Don't take that to mean I didn't like it; I did!

hi Noeby,
You know, I do enjoy writing the epilogues, and while i love writing the fics in themselves, I tend to get lost when i try and string it out too much!!! So... my feeling is, lets cut the 'will they, wont they,' cos we know they will -
I did mean for this to go on for longer but to be honest there is so much going on for me RL right now... complex...
thank god for fan fic - it keeps me sane!

Oh poor Hermione. She's trying. Snape is one stubborn dude. Thanks for the updates!

Pain, on both parts, fix it... :-) Actually, loving the story, but get them together if you can! :-)

I knew he'd be like this. I don't know what minor miracle you have up your sleve to get these two back together, they seem almost emotionaly impaired. Severus has always been so extreme or "severe" if you will and Hermione is just an open book ( pun not intended). I think our heroine needs to toughin up a little. She doesn't seem very OOC due to the circumstances and I think any woman in her situation would feel the same. It seems all of this is due to the fact that Sev hasn't let go at all and he needs to if he is going to lead any kind of happy existance. Not that he should forget Lucy but make some peace with her death. I did read some where that it takes a full 2 years for the grief process to complete itself. I truly believe it can not be measured everyone is different and just because the grieving is complete it does not mean that the living are somehow magically ready to let go. As usual can't wait for more and Well done!!!!!

hi hon,
a nice set of chapters. a bit of both pov's. Being in love changes someone and it's normal she would have wanted to contact him if he shagged her and ran away!!!
Great stuff. Iwas looking forward to these a lot, and as usual, they dont disappoint.

Augh! That infuriating man! The fact that he wouldn't even respond to her letters irritates me...he's a typical man I suppose. Well, at least Severus is going back to Hogwarts. Perhaps he can find some semblance of normalcy there. He spent a long time with Lucy, practically as a Muggle. It would stand to reason that he should get back to his magical roots, so to speak.
Edward is also an idiot. What was he expecting when he saw Hermione again? That she would just fall back into his bed and everything would be as it was before? Perhaps a change of employment is in order. Maybe if Hermione wouldn't be inundated with Edward's presence everyday, she would have a shot at closure-from Edward and Severus.
Thanks for the double update! Looking forward to the next chapter(s)!
