Hi. First I am really sorry for your mother, this must be something horible.
I'm sorry that you are disapointed that you do not have a lot of reviews. You said that this site is easy to post stories, but I don't know if you have noticed that it has become harder to post a review even when you have an account - each time you should type "stop spams words" (I don't know how you call it), this is the only fanfiction site that requests this. I have stopped writing reviews here since this no userfriendly idea. I think that maybe I am not the only one.
If you want a lot of readers and reviews I would advise you to post on fanfictiondotcom (there you can even see how many people red your story by day or month), I am sure that you know all the other site where you can post.
I will gladly review each of your new chapters if you start to post on another site.

I've been following this story for a few chapters now; so, I apologize, because I am, really, a terrible reviewer. Something I strive to do better at, but always seems to slip my mind. :(
Anyway, things I like about this story: Yorick, whenever Sev starts to talk to his 'chicken' it makes me laugh. Letters, there aren't as many in these later chapters, but those early letters (and the involved dramatic irony) were, too, amusing in the extreme. Hermione's neighbor, there's always one, isn't there? All in all, I'm thoroughly enjoying the progression of your story and can't wait to see how the antidote hunting goes. Keep up the good work! And in case you don't hear from me again (which, despite how much I wish it weren't so, is somewhat likely, if I'm being honest) feel free to assume that no news is good news!

Sorry, I am one of the lurkers that have been faithfully reading this story. I do so enjoy it and especially Snapes letter to Kingsley threatening to put his order of merlin on Voldie's grave! Priceless. Your story is very well written and I really love each and every update. Keep up the good work and hope that you have a very happy and healthy new year!

I remember reading this story a while back and am glad that you have decided to continue with it. I would hope that the idea that this story is not receiving reviews is due to the lack of smut is incorrect. The plot and each chapter seem very though out and flow nicely. As the relationship between Hermione and Severus builds I find that gratuitous smut is not needed. Alluding to the fact adds to the intimacy between the two. I look forward to reading the next chapter

I do apologize for not having left a review before. I am quite enjoying this story. I find the characters engaging and amusing and the plot intriguing. Other than that I have nothing constructive to say.

I think you're right on a few counts, you took a break away from the story for personal reasons. No one can fault you for that.
I happen to have enjoyed this story from the beginning. (and i like porn, but i like substance more) I was mightly surprised when i saw an update.

Since you only post here, have you thought about posting on one of the LJ comms? (at least for promotion)
give people a chance to re-read the fic.

Don't give up on us yet. I'd really like to see how this will end up, and will be a shame not to let Severus and Hermione have their [ hopefully? ] happy ending just since we have been bad readers *is feeling ashamed*

just wanted to mention how I love Snape's small dialogs with his so called chicken. never fails to make me laugh =D
