Beautiful!.....BUT poor Severus. It's like I am pleased that Lucius and Hermione ended up together, indeed I wouldn't be happy if it had ended any other way. In spite of that though, my heart breaks for Severus.
As usual, your writing is superb!

OMG! Snape? In White? Has Hell frozen over? (What did Hermione have to do to get him into that outfit? How much begging and pestering?). Awww... 'Do I have to?' He sounds like a kid who won't wash behind his ears! lol!

She's barefoot... I'd expected the boots! The most recent wedding I went to, the bride barely lasted the photos before her pretty shoes were replaced by knee-high, lace up leather boots that sound a lot like the one's Sev bought her! lol! It took a lot of arguing to get Yolanda into a DRESS to walk down the isle! She stayed in it for about three hours before changing into jeans and a T-shirt! lol! Yo just doesn't do girly!

I am going to cry - and it's all your fault! I always cry at weddings (or in the case of my cousin's wedding, I cried at the rehearsal the day before - we all did [when I say all, I mean the bride and three bridesmaids, which I was one of], but on the day we were all in fits of giggles as the vicar embarrassed us for sobbing the day before! lol!)

I like that, they need something to make them compromise. Nice touch.

They've been married all of thirty seconds and already that 'compromise' thing has to kick in! Why can't she have one name for the public and the other name for the rest of the time. Many professional women are still referred to by their maiden names once they're married; but the wedding certificate has them with their married name.

That's it, pass me a hanky Hermione's confession to Sev has me sobbing!

Oh, so sad.... yet happy for Hermione and Lucius.... but still sad for Sev. I know you said he has his own story coming, but you have written him such that one feels so badly for him losing Hermione (at least as a lover and potential wife). Love your humor, Draco and his plan to liquor his new 'mummy' up and learn more 'secrets' and Sev tweeking Luc with the 'on the sly' comment. I look forward to the next chap, although I hate to see this end. As long as it was on-going, there was still this unreasonable (because I know you already said it would be HGLM and not LMHGSS) hope that both LM and SS would find their love in HG. Oh well, I guess we will have your next one to look forward to, a Dramione, huh?

Alright you did it, that chapter brought tears to my eyes. I am NOT a emotional person but, that was just so very bittersweet. I do realise that Severus is right they would have made each other miserable. It is sad however to think of what could have been. I'm not so sure feelings like that ever go away they just sit in the dark corners of the mind. I'm sure you'll make it up to poor Severus. Well done.

It was such a nice chapter, and a little bit of Sev in the mix aswell.
