"Rush Hour" by Scary Bear Hair
Woo Hoo, I do love Lucius behind the wheel of a hot car. the image of his driving gloves alone makes for a hot flash. And the blue jeans and leather jacket are yummy visuals, just scrumptious.
Hermione asking, "So, where are you going to take me?" had all sorts of interesting connotations. She wasn't much frightened of him to get into the car so easily. That bodes well. He says she can't leave his bed until he gives her permission. Well, duh, who'd want to leave? LOL.
He's such a horrible, clueless driver, it juxtaposes so wickedly with his normal persona. I loved that.
The story was fast-paced, cute and scary at the same time. What a thrill ride with Mr. Arrogance!

I loved this Scary! I can totally see Lucius driving through the streets, manically. LOL

I swear I am such a dork! lol
Anyway I loved this idea and I love all the stories! They are all so beautifully written too! They really go through a range of emotions. Some are funny and others are rather poignant and bittersweet.
As you can see I added to the group with Rush Hour. Thanks for the lovely review Snape Goddess. You are a sweetie. And what a lovely collection this is!

very cool fic, i thoroughly enjoyed the piece and, if possible, would love a continuation where we get more insight on Lucius's feelings and if this is just a fling, as was with the rest of the employees, or he really is serious about her, that was the one tidbit i thought was missing

Sapphic Jade Code Monkey was funny as hell. Where do you come up with some of these songs? This fic was just a laugh a minute...Lucius living almost like a muggle. A low level paper pusher in the Ministry? Polyester robes? Bringing his lunch? Oh the shame...the horror! Couple all of that with the song and I couldn't quit laughing. I kept "seeing" it all happen and I was enjoying Lucius' misery.
I'm glad that he eventually got the girl though. Interesting song & hilarious fic!

MHS.....Heart is only the most amazing girl band EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it...love the song......love the concept....I personally am not very good at writing first person....but I may give it a try as a challenge to myself. =)

Oh, how sad that its only a oneshot. It is great to see good old Lucius coping with the real world. Lundry, cooking, oh, I picture Lucius struggling with that. Lovely. I'd love to read a whole story on it. Maybe you can ask your muse to continue.
