I love total eclipse of the heart.....have since I was a teenager.....I can recall vividly hearing it on the radio and during the second set of "turn around" him cutting in and yelling "turn around bitch!" not sure why I still recall that, but I do LMAO...anyhoo...


I of course love any fic that features dead narcissa....after birthing draco she was completely unnecessary and should have been disposed of immediately. I also love anything that features a redeemed Lucius, because I love him so.....

Total Eclipse of the Heart: Like it??? I loved it. That song is so complex. It has so many differing emotions that I couldn't imagine attempting it myself. I had a fleeting moment where I thought I might (I swear I'm going to call my cable company and have them delete VH1 from my channel line up) but I couldn't wrap my mind around how I would get the story to work with the song.

Excellent job! Your fic really fit the song, conveying Lucius emotions over losing Narcissa and Hermione's ups and downs over how her life turned out. The fact that he finally realized he could let Narcissa go so he could fully love Hermione was just the icing on the cake. Great song fic!

Looking forward to reading more of your work!

wow. I don't even know where to begin. The story cukd have been ok, but the grammar was horrible. I can understand if you are not a native speaker, but you might want to try using a beta.

To Mrs Helene_Snape - that was indeed magical. :) And oh how I'd long to have such a Magic Man to worship at the alter of my womanhood too. (I loved that line). Absolutely brilliant! (sad to fall out with her mum though but such is life).

Magic Man: Ok, so heart rocks! I recently saw them in concert and they were just amazing!! When I hear that song i usually think of Lucius or Draco too!!!! you and I obviously have very similar tastes in music and wizards. ;) well done you!

This is a review for the 'Magic Man' chapter...

I feel compelled to say that the way you wrote the story coupled with the lyrics TOTALLY made me think of the song!
Now, there were a handful of editing errors that tend to drive me a little batty (but I can't be too much of a hypocrite as my story has its share) but if you ever want me to give your work a quick look over, I would be more than happy to do it.
Bottom line...brilliant use of the lyrics and totally fitting for his character...well done!

My congratulations to each and every writer who contributed to this challenge. Your stories were all fabulous, thought provoking, romantic, emotional, sad and breath taking in their turn. My thanks again to S_G for the challenge and to all those who took part with their wonderful tales. :)
