Hey there. Well, this is my first time in the Harry Potter section and this is the first fic I've read and I'm glad it was my first, as I loved the first chapter. Its very well written and the letter was great, I hate writibng letters, yours had a lot of feeling in it.

i don't really think you can get an overdone idea in fanfic, everyone always has their own spin on it. if someone thinks the idea has been done too much then they don't need to read it. ian is the only thing i can think of for damian or omen but then the harry potter world probably wouldn't come up with that. Have you thought about nevill for hermione, he's pure blood and could have found a backbone and stand up to ron when he goes his predictable temper tantrum. looking forward to more of the story.
