(Chapter 5)
This story just gets better and better with each new chapter. I love your Lucius--introspective and with a conscience is so refreshing, and yet he's still Lucius, evidenced in the very Slytherin way his advises Draco on how they will gather the other women to the Manor. His guilt and shame over the rape of Tonks and the taking of Hermione, his love for Narcissa and feelings of having betrayed her memory are heartbreaking and so well written. The way you've written Lucius and Draco is what makes this story so compelling and enthralling. Delving into their psyche's and exposing their true feelings while still keeping them in character is no mean feat, but your excellent writing makes them having these hidden feelings entirely believable. I realise this story is in response to a challenge, but you've gone above and beyond the challenge itself and woven a truly awesome story. You've taken a plot we've all seen before, the enslavement, given it a completely new twist and made it completely your own, keeping the storyline fresh and full of surprises with dark and intriguing new twists. Now Voldemort is magically aging the children produced by his enslavement plan, impregnating them with his own spawn, and Delphine is next. The angst factor (and I do love the angst!) is suddenly upped tenfold. I LOVE this story!!!
Fabulous update and I'm dying for the next!!

I cannot believe how well you are creating a plot out of what I would have listed as PWP. Please keep it up!
Cheers!

This is a very twisted, dark, and disturbing fic. Just the kind of fic I like. I really feel for all the characters, here. Well, Ron, not so much. But, just about everyone else has been devastated by the war and is doing the best he or she can to survive. I like that they are going to try to destroy Voldemort, and can only hope it happens before he gets his hands on poor little Dephine. Of course, I particularly feel for Draco. You've really made him an incredibly tragic figure, both repulsive and sympathetic. Not an easy feat to pull off. Good job.

(Chapter 4)
Excellent chapter, and yes, you've satisfied at least a bit of my questioning nature. However, this chapter raises the whole new question as to how Tonks is alive. Is Tonks aware she's been married off to Lucius? Also, I'm dying of curiosity.....Ginny only skimmed over her relationship with Severus, and methinks there's more to it than she's letting on....
I feel for Lucius! His kindness towards Hermione and his love for his son, the loss of the wife he actually did love........there's an honour to him in this, and a sense of tragedy (tragic honour?) that makes me feel for him. I feel for Draco also, more a sense of pity for him and his madness, although it looks as if he is maybe beginning to conquer it. Perhaps Hermione's love, and here's hoping that love is real and not borne of pity, will help him be whole again. She's going to have his baby now, hopefully that will give him a reason to live, some strength, a sense of purpose. I'm glad he's come to love little Delphine. I can't help but wonder if, even though Lucius has claimed her as his child, it won't be Draco who ends up being a father to her? And of course there's Draco's words to Hermione, that Voldemort wants them all to marry. Will he be forced into a marriage to someone other than Hermione? Will that drive him further into madness? Will Hermione then be taken and made to be a breeder for someone else, married off to someone else, or will she remain a Malfoy breeder?
You're probably going to tear your hair out when you see this whole new spate of questions, but look at it this way.....I wouldn't ask if I weren't so totally into this story! You keep me guessing and wondering and wanting to know, which keeps me coming back for more, and that, Tambra dear, is a sign of a great writer.
I love this story and I can't wait for another update!
