(Chapter 12)

Firstly, you're welcome!

Oh! No wonder Draco went mad. Small wonder Luicus didn't as well. Bellatrix....as twisted as usual. Really, after that horror, it's a wonder Draco can manage to have sex at all. I can see how the breast-feeding fetish came into play, but I would think that he would forevermore associate sex with killing his mother, and not be able to engage in it at all, even with the suckling. I think you did a good job in the writing of the events. The horror of it comes through, and makes Draco's madness suddenly understandable and forgiveable. Again, I'm amazed that Lucius managed to remain sane.

Good for Hermione for going afer what she wants. And good for Maeve for doing what she thinks right. The pale mist she observes at the Manor....is it Narcissa? I like to think it is. I suppose that it could possibly be Remus, but I think that if Remus were a ghost, he would be with Teddy, wherever Teddy is, and so I think it's Narcissa. Which makes me wonder, if it is indeed Narcissa, if Lucius and Tonks can see her too, and if Draco did while he was living at the Manor. That would certainly explain and add to his madness, seeing his dead mother, whom he killed, wafting about the Manor. Poor Narcissa. She always comes to a sad end, doesn't she?

As for what I want to read about......my vote goes for all of them! The more of your excellent writing, the better, but I would love to know the backstory to Severus and Ginny and what happened to them, how they became werewolves, and how they came to be together. I would also love to read about Lucius and Tonks' life together, how they manage to make it work, or if indeed they do. As for Ron, I'm dying of curiosity, and have been since he first did it, about the events that led to him betraying Hermione and the rest of his family. Please, I know it's a tall order, but write all of them! I promise to avidly read and review!

Poor Draco! I'm so glad he has another family to help him through this; I hope that he can accept Hermione's love and forgiveness.

my goodness, my goodness, he found out oh lord, I was in tears of his pain, i mean he was coming along really well with hermione and LOVE him the way he is, and how he just ran and went to meave and broke down, lord I was dying. He really couldnt understand how hermione could love him, and hope he doesn't push her away now, and I am crazy anxious as to what meave is gonna do to lucius, but I cant help but feel, meave will never understand how mad and unpredictable it was when voldie was around, and yes draco and lucius was bad at one point but they did their best to make ammends, oh my....sigh. More brilliant work, so please update soon.

Great to see an update!

I can make no guesses as to what is going to happen now! It's good that he's remembered, I just hope he can come to deal with his past without hurting Hermione anymore.

I am still loving the story! I don't understand some of the questions by other readers, as is the youngest daughter Draco's. You never even suggested that!

I am, as always, going to take this this story as it comes, and so far it is wonderful. You have a great imagination and I love it!

(Chapter 11)

Poor, poor Draco. To have to read about himself and his own actions, in a newspaper of all places, and then to have to face up to what he once was. I liked the allegorical reference to the fire, to Draco having been burnt clean, cleansed of his sins, but I would have thought that the thought of his having survived being more important than what he had been would have brought him a measure of comfort. Still, I can also see what you mean about it adding to his guilt and revulsion. I was kind of surprised to see Draco re-sorted back into Slytherin....I don't know why, but I just thought that perhaps he'd be put into Gryffindor for his bravery in defeating Voldemort.

I wonder about Delphine and Scorpius. Draco is Scorpius' father...,yet he doesn't seem to be making any effort to build a relationship with the boy. I realise it's early days in regard to his return to the Wizarding World and learning about his past life, but he knows he is Scorpius' father. I hope he'll realise he needs to be a father, and can't let Scorpius suffer, no matter the circumstances of his conception. And Delphine...if she thinks Draco is her uncle, does she realise Lucius is her father?

I'm looking forward to seeing what Maeve has to say to Lucius about Draco. How strange it must also be for Lucius to know that Draco, his son, considers Maeve, a stranger to Lucius, to be his mother.

Can't wait for the next chapter.

Chapter 10

You know it occurred to me that I forgot to laud your original character names. I love your choices. They reflect a sensibility closer to JKR's in that sense. While her epilogue, pairings, etc., are not to my liking, I do prefer names that fit in with the cast of characters she created. Thank you for that.

I also like the cadence of the dialogue you've written. It really reflects a more British speech pattern as I read.

I look forward to more.

Fabulous!

I'm sooo glad that Draco still has feelings for Hermione. I still feel sorry for her though - even Maeve doesn't seem to like her so much.

A qeustion theough: does Draco believe Daphne is his child? I'm assuming he does since they have been avoiding telling him anything of his past (and Daphne being his fathers child would probably seem a little strange). If he doesn't remember his past though, would they just let him continue with the belief that Daphne is his?
