Whew!! Thank Merlin they got a reprieve. I so deplore what JKR did to him in book 7 so I am glad that he found some happiness here in your little corner of fanficdom. :) And I could totally imagine him being gentle, hesitant and a little unsure until Hermione convinced him to be otherwise. Wonderful stuff!!!!!
