I like you're AU setting and am happy to suspend disbelief in Naricissa and Hermione's mother having been friends (though I think in England it might be called Primary School, then it gets complex I believe, even within that structure). All willing to give into because of your structure, style and strong writing. I'm enjoying this.

I'm confused about two things: is the war over? how is it safe for Hermione's mother to be at the Manor? when you noted in first chapter than Harry vouched for Draco, is that post war? Was that a memory? Sorry, am a touch confused on the timeline.

I don't know that your Draco isn't canon - he's not all that nice, still short-sighted, a prat and bully. I like him like that...and Blaise seems haughty in all the right ways to me. I don't know if you're too far off from canon. Again, I continue to be drawn in.

this is a really cute story so far i hope you do continue it.
