This is a wonderful story. I enjoyed every word if it. I've been searching for a fic worth reading for a very long time, and reading yours has been very refreshing. I hope you write more, for you are e very talented author.

A nice way to weave in some DH aspects. My preferential pairing is Dramione, though. :D

Now just so we have an understanding here, it is not acceptable to make me cry. HOWEVER, that was so truly beautiful, meaningful and emotionally touching that I could not help but let the tears fall. The soul searching and the thoughts of even being somehow worthy of redemption, the chance to be a real father and to accept his fall from grace (his idea of it) were all wonderfully captured and I easily matched the story to the song you chose. In short, well done!! (and you really aren't allowed to make me cry) ;)

that is a freakin awsome story! i just wish it would have been a LOT longer story--you could have done it to there is so much compacted and not said all at the same time in this story and i think it would have been GREAT! maybe i can perswaide you to make it longer?(wiggling eyebrows here.) :) well it was a wonderfully great story all the same!!!

Oh, my, this was breathtaking. A tour de force illuminating Lucius - his youthful ideals gone so horribly awry, his fears for Draco, the only person that truly mattered to him, his failures to see what was important until it was almost too late, and his weary triumph over his past, his obsession with material things, and his twisted political leanings. Snape handed him a new beginning and he took it with both hands. Then his own helping hand was extended to Hermione. One good deed begets another.

Oh, I like this tale very much. You have packed so much angst, fallen arrogance and love into it, I am amazed. Truly well done. *clapping* Beautiful writing.
