I wish you luck on recovering your lost flash drive....
Unfortunately, as it is easy enough to wipe off any files and save your own stuff, chances will be small at the recovery part of it. Sorry :(
Whether or not you find it or rewrite chapter 15, I just want you to know that I've enjoyed your story so far :)

Yes, flashDRIVES. 5 of them, to be precise LOL 1 writing, 1 writing challenges, 1 music, 1 photos and 1 general, for everything that doesn't fit in those categories... But since I also bring my laptop into work (or use my boss' when I have a chance), it all works lol I keep them in my wallet... instead of $$. I doscovering that long neck-thingy was so NOT helpful.

Sorry to here about the theft of your usb. Its happened to me and I know its pretty irritating. I hope you manage to find the stupid idiot thief that stole it and cost us our update. I'm kinda hating him right now too...
Anyway I hope you don't stop updating this fic even if you don't find that usb.

I know you probably do not want to hear this but.... how many times this has to happen before people learn to BACK THINGS UP? I work in a school and a least twice a year a desperate message is sent to the entire staff begging for help to find a flash drive that has a dissertation on it. DON'T PUT YOUR ONLY COPY OF AN IMPORTANT FILE IN ONE PLACE. I have my entire computer backed up on an external drive. Files are SO easy to copy. Do it. Really. I love this fic, but I cannot feel sorry for you.

That's a downer about the jump drive. I just lost my 4 gb and was pretty heart broken so I understand. Great story. I am always so excited when you have the next chapter posted.
