ARGH! What an evil cliffie! What happened to the real Priestess? And what will happen to all those couples who were put together by the fake?
If Fenrir killed the dominant who talked back to Fenrir and leered at Harry, he's going to torture Marylla.

Lovely, as usual, but I am confused about one thing. In an earlier chapter, you said that because the Priestess had no mate, she gave off a kind of a dead aura, as she was neither dominant, nor submissive. If she gives off this aura, why did no one else notice that it was not really her? *Scratches head*
On the upside, OMIGOD!!!! Update! You can't leave us there! Was Paul in on this scheme? Is that why he said that Harry's name would not be read out as the Alpha's mate at the end of chapter fourteen? God, I hope not. I don't want any of Harry's brothers to be evil. I've mentioned before, that will fuck the poor boy up so bad.
Oh! And I'm glad you explained about the black tattoo/band around Harry's leg. You mentioned it briefly in an earlier chapter, and I wondered what it was all about. I kept meaning to ask, and then fogetting. Memory like a leaky sieve. But, you explained, so I'm happy.
Update! Update! Update! And kill Marylla for trying to trick the Alpha. Jesus, what a bitch.
And I liked Fenrir killing that dominant for coming on to Harry, that was cute (if gory). I like the reminders that Fenrir is not essentially a nice man, because we've really only seen him with Harry, where naturally he comes off as quite soft, in a tough way. If you know what I mean.

I just finished Chapter 2 and had to comment. I like how you're setting up a Cinderella twist, here, with Harry as the titular waif off to enchant the Prince. You write his voice so plaintively that it hurts my chest to think of anyone ever feeling like that.
This is a very interesting spin on James as the abusive father and I like that you included brothers for Harry (fan of The Chronicles of Narnia?). Nice use of metaphor throughout and I like the observation of the lambs setting up Harry's imminent journey.
Looking forward to the rest.
