Oh my, quite a trip for everyone to America! Poor Dibby, I guess he is learning his lesson about meddeling the hard way. At least he will be going to home soil when the Snapes return. Narcissa, ughhhhhhh! I don't care if she sent Draco a nice letter (if you could call it nice. Oh, feel sorry for me, my heritage makes me do despicable things)she is still a horrible horible person. Will Mr. Malfoy take the children that she concieved deviously since after all they are still his. But what would that do to his and Padma's relationship, since she is also having his baby? Oh, I can't wait to read more to see exactly where you are going to take this.

I don't know why I didn't read chapter 15 before now. It's a great chapter that moves the story right along. I like how you haven't dropped any of the Patil family issues in light of the latest developments. All too often these threads are forgotten or disregarded. I believe that they are worth mining as well as proof of the minefields of family life. Your view of Narcissa--while it works for Miss Patil--is one that I usually choose to avoid. I know it happens with other couples, it seems weird to me that such a vapid and shallow woman as Narcissa could have ever have been paired with Lucius to anyone's satisfaction. Your Lucius is interesting, real, intelligent, and sexy.
Parvati is such a bitch to Padma. Not the kind of sister anyone ever wants, but all too often, the kind of sibling many are stuck with. It amazes me that parents express such clear preference for one child over the other--especially when the favoured child seems truly unworthy--but I know it happens. Just watch Maury--is it even still on?--or Jerry Springer for evidence of that.
Now on to chapter 16. One of the things I enjoyed here was Lucius's misnomer for Pradesh, Prudish. Growing up with an ethnic name, I'm not surprised anymore when someone does something like this. In any event, it is fun to see some of the "chips" falling where they may. I'm glad Lucius got to hear the news from Padma's own lips, albeit accidental knowledge. His shock is interesting, although I'd like to take a deeper peak into his heart in the aftermath of hearing the news.
Naming her baby Lumpkin, is an interesting choice. Where did you come up with it?
Oh, I am so glad to hear that Severus is coming back the plot, hopefully front and center, but let's see. Lucius has needed the succor that only a long-time intimate can offer. I hope that Sev as you write him will be the kind of person Lucius and Padma both need to move the story forward.
As ever, I am looking forward to the next installment. Great job.

Dibby, do your meddling! Narcissa's sins need brought out into the open, so that Mr. Malfoy can go and scoop up Miss Patil and carry her off into the sunset. Doesn't she think he is smart enough to add up the months though, or does she think that his condition would prevent him from knowing? I liked Severus's letter telling about what his family is up to. I do hope that Mr. Malfoy will drop in on him while in America. I would like to read about that reunion. Liked the cat fight. I do hope the other Patil girl got some bruises too! Now, I must go and vote.

Chapter 16: I hope Lucius and Snape reconnect. It sounds very promising. Snape has moved on. If Lucius can move on with Padma, it will be a wonderful day. I guess Dibby is going to get into trouble with Elf Mother again, isn

Poor Lucius, poor Dibby, and poor Miss Patel. Is Narcissa's baby really Lucius's? I hope not. I'm really glad that Pradish was caught. I hope Narcissa gets her ass kicked out. I'm so glad she was able to find the counter curse, she should be the one to take care of him now. Maybe we will see some of Draco now, maybe even some Snape? You know, since Lucius is so ill, he will need his family (Narcissa excluded) and freinds around. By the way, Tenners is a great store.

I've really enjoyed this story thus far and the rest in your Slytherin redemption series. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely inspiration. I do hope that at some point the stories of all of these may convene into something much more interesting - especially against the backdrop of how they change, and show up the Griffyndors... now that sounds interesting :)

Thanks for the update. This installment brought more Elf in than I would have liked, but wow! what a whammy with Narcissa being in the family way! It's definitely going to be interesting to see where this baby fits in. I might be forgetting their interlude, but it seems to me that there is a possibility that Lucius might not be "fucked" as it were. Wouldn't that be nice? I do like how the magic varies according to culture and language; clever twist, that.
I'm looking forward, as always, to the next turn in this saga.

I definitely concur with LaBibliographe's opinion of Lucius' letter to Ginny. His letter also illuminates his own opinions about himself, which answers the questions I posed previously. Thanks for that. I was absolutely surprised that he chose her to be the first recipient of his apologies. It makes sense that she would be on the list, but first? I'm looking forward to who else might be on the list.
Draco's letter to Lucius was much warmer than I had expected. Somehow, I thought there would still be some vestigial formality between the two. This also reminds me, if Bulstrode actually knew Seamus' situation, what was her purpose in telling Tomas differently? Was she trying to derail this relationship before it began? Or was she confused?
Don't tell me you're going to kill off Lucius, are you? Unless magic comes to save the day, I'll be rather miffed, ;)
Again, another great chappie. I look forward to more.
Oh yes, here in India, it is spelling Diwali, not Dipwali.
