I feel the story is refreshing and sweet (in its own way). I enjoy the different take on Lucius Malfoy and the seldom-written Padama.

Chapter 2 review.
I love how Lucius just can't help himself. He sabotages Ian's sermon with the Song of Solomon, annoys Draco's mother-in-law, feigns innocence about it all, wanks to Muggle pornography, and plays Monopoly with his grandsons and then expresses his admiration over getting beaten by Toby. It figures a Malfoy would enjoy Monopoly. I could almost see him sitting there, smiling innocently as if to say, "Moi?"
Poor Padma. Having to subject herself to Parvati and Justin must be torture. Parvati is a real piece of work! I do like how you wrote Padma's relationship with her Bapa. It's very sweet.

Chapter 3 review.
I laughed at the cheesy romance novels that were written with Snape as a character and Padma's reaction it them. Love Amongst the Death Eaters...heh!
I say good for Lucius and what he did to the Punk. I liked the touch of what each of the variations of Lucius would have done. I felt bad that he felt he had to flee England. But we know that it works out in the end. ;)
I also like Finnegan's character. "It would have made less paperwork." Sigh. A cop is a cop is a cop. No matter where you are.

I'm speechless. This was so fucking good ('scuse my language), it positively riveted me. It's not done, is it? At any rate, I plan to leave a review for each chapter. I actually owe you quite a few reviews for the Redemption series, Forgiveness, and Letters.
I just wanted drop this quick review upon finishing chapter 19.

Right. Started in on this one now. It's strange reading Lucius this way, but it's a good strange. You've done a brilliant job of understatement. We're all familiar with the perceived arrogance of the Malfoys and therefore tend to take it at face value. But really, in a way, that same arrogance is like a curse that blocks them from their own genuine feelings.
At the end, you could see true regret with Narcissa even though it's been stunted by years of her lineage's assumed superiority. But, as with all upper crust society, it is quickly pushed down and replaced with the bred-in arrogance.
Kind of sad really. Although in Narcissa's case, she is so fundamentally narcisstic that she undoubtedly fails to recognize it.

What a roller-coaster ride! They are right that the course of true love never runs smoothly. I truly enjoyed this tale of Lucius' falling in love and courtship of Padma Patil. The humor, the crime drama, the character-driven angst were all well handled and blended together perfectly.
I found myself getting emotionally involved with the characters, feeling fear, outrage, pain and joy right along with them. You really dragged me into the story, because I just couldn't keep from clicking the "next chapter" button immediately I finished the page.
Well done! :) I look forward to you updates on your other tales, and I'll definitely be re-reading this story of the Slytherin Redemption ficverse.

(Chapter 19)
I really did love this story. I like Lucius in love, and I like Lucius as a father. With his twins, his and Padma's baby, and the more he asked if she minded, that's going to be one crowded house! Good thing Lucius does like it spicy, and with Padma and all those babies, life certainly won't be dull. A great ending to a great story.

Chapter 16
I know it's been a while, but real life got in the way of both my reading and reviewing. Sorry about that.
The dramatic nature of how Lucius found out about the baby really serves to give all involved a bit of punch, huh? There are so many things in life that deserve to be experienced in the most visceral way possible, and this is definitely why I enjoy good writing. I also giggled a bit at how Pradesh suddenly--and quite believably--morphed into Prudish...
Chapter 17
I've gotta say, this was possibly your heaviest expository chapter to date. At first it was hard going, but then the inherent humour of the situation took over. That bit about the Brownies was also inspired. Interestingly enough, Snape's time with Native Americans is also a believable leap. Given the OOC nature of a fanon Snape, his comfortable transition is not a bad thing at all.
Chapter 18
Is Miss Patil's Holiday coming to an end? If so, that explains why loose ends look like they're within a stone's throw of being tied. I would have enjoyed reading more if that is the case.

Chapter 18: Everyone is assembled and now the Brownies may get the various problems untangled. And how delicious that Narcissa discovers her intimacies with the infant were broadcast all over the world. Tomas certainly has good taste in men if he sees Snape as sexy. And the American wood sprite obviously thought Lucius had possibilities (I agree).
Well! Narcissa has had an epiphany of sorts. She always expected Lucius to protect her from anything, but she didn
