I have to agree with Animeaddictanonymous. I'm a long time reader but this fic is really to extremes. I'm a long time reader also but I have to say this is the first fic of yours I've really not enjoyed all that much after the first chapter I reviewed. I don't know if I'll keep reading...Eileen is horrible. She has no morals, not even Slytherin ones. She's a psychopath.

Although I admit I admire your writing style, your imagination and the fact that you are probably the fastest writing author I know of, there is one thing that terribly irritates me in most of your stories, and it's one-sidedness. I haven't read all of your fanfictions, so it's possible I missed something, but as far as I know, you're the master of Gryffindor-bashing, and while that can be understandable in Severus, I personally think that a writer should be more open-minded than a bitter ex-spy willing to scorn some for what he admires in others. What I wanted to write of, however, was Hermione's reaction to Snape having a daughter. I agree that he is good with words, but the way she just let him walk all over her when, in truth, it was she who had more arguments in this discussion, was so un-hermionish that I simply couldn't not react to it. How could Hermione, who was always so passionate about things she believed in, who never backed down from an intellectual challenge, how could this Hermione not stand up for her right to know about having a daughter? She wasn't just some anonymous donor of a sperm bank, and I think she wouldn't have trouble coming up with arguments to counter Snape's. Especially considering that his accusations were just a way of turning her attention from the main issue, and had more to do with his furiousness at her behaviour in the Shrieking Shack than anything else.

Having said that, I will add that during my five years long adventure with fanfiction, you are only the second author who has managed to make me both angry and interested enough to react in such a way. Congratulations on that :D.

Is Eileen Snape a Psychopath?

If you've read the reviews, you may have seen that Eileen has been described as psychopathic. To be honest, I didn't know if she was or not, but I really didn't think she was. So, I investigated exactly what a psychopath was and found this little test that is given to help identify a psychopath or psychopathic tendencies. I'm posting it here and you can rate Eileen yourself. I found her not to be one with my scores. Anyway, here's the test and some info.

The material thus covers two key aspects that help define the psychopath: selfish and unfeeling victimization of other people, and an unstable and antisocial lifestyle.
The twenty traits assessed by the PCL-R score are:

Read the whole thing just now. Loverly. Adore the detail and the different take you always give HG/SS. The parental p.o.v. is valuable, too - lots of laughs at, "Graduation might come early this year." My menaces have already begun that malarky. At 4 and 2! Good gravy.

Cheers cheers cheers, Ruth!

Thanks for giving us that little scene with Delores. It bothered me that she could simply turn her back on what was believed to be her own child like that. Not many people get a chance at that kind of honest closure.

A wonderful chapter. I am glad that Eileen and Severus went to tell Delores the truth. At least now she is truly out of their lives. I look forward to reading the next chapter.

Not only did Severus steal a child from Hermione, he also stole her real mother from Eileen. And Delores never really stood a chance, did she? This is so sad for all concerned. I hope they'll be able to adjust. Thanks for the updates!

Ur spitting out updates like sunflower seeds! lol

It's going to get interesting when things between the long lost sibilings come to a head. Hugo seems to have the right idea, but Rose and Eileen...oh boy.
