LiLlAdYeX: Oh, I don't think you're being exactly fair to our Hermione. :) She didn't say anything about Eileen wanting to know her or not being satisfied with her father's love. She simply stated he gave no one any options, that he arbitrarily and selfishly decided everything based only on what he wanted. As far as punching him, she's done that before . . . to Draco, so it's in her to do such a thing. True, she should have found out more, but because of the ritual, he wouldn't have told her more anyway. According to what Eileen read about it, Hermione couldn't have any foreknowledge for it to take properly. You couldn't expect Hermione not to take Snape to task in some manner could you? If she didn't, she wouldn't be Hermione. But thank you for the comments. :)

wow miss figg! I love this story! it's so diffrent. :)) I read the reviewsw and it seemed some people jumped to conclsions before they saw what was going on. I don't think Eileen is a psychopath just tough. I think you write great stories and I have enjoyed all of them. You are very creative! i had to laugh when I saw how wrong people were and the last chapter was great. Thansk for writing this story!

I like this story, it's unconventional. And for the reviews and your answers, it's nice to see this interaction and what is said.
I question myself about Rose and Eileen behavior toward each other. What did they knew about the other, the " what-people-say" or something like that?
Bye :)

Vertpin: I think the dislike between Eileen and Rose is probably based on observation by Eileen who knows Rose is Harry Potter's daughter and probably a popular Gryffindor princess, and admired because of her dad. Remember, Snape was basically snubbed. I don't know if this has a bearing on it or not, but it could.
Rose's view of Eileen is probably based on what's said about her, and brief, unpleasant interactions like when they were on the train and Eileen wouldn't let her and Hugo stay in the compartment with her. Then there's the traditional Slytherin/Gryffindor house beef that can't help things any.
There may also be a bit of sibling rivalry now, Rose feeling she has to share her mother's affections. So, there's a lot of muck in the air with these two. We'll see what happens. Glad you are enjoying the story.

I'm wondering if there is going to be anymore Hermione / Snape action (since it's put under that category to begin with), because so far it was just the conception where we had anything going on - I mean any romance as well, not just looking for sex here. Doesn't seem like Ron will be going away anytime soon, so is this story revolving around the Hermione / Eileen relationship now? Or are you going to get back to the main pairing sometime?

curious: The HG/SS relationship is most likely NOT going to be an intimate one. There are more than sexual relationships and I still think their interaction will qualify as HG/SS except they will be interacting as people with something in common rather than lovers. A few HG/SS stories keep them as friends throughout. I started this one differently. I love conflict, and if this isn't conflicting I don't know what the heck is. They certainly aren't friends now, and I'm not sure they will ever be. We'll just have to see.
In my stories, I usually have several storylines going on at once within a story, because it makes it more 3 dimensional, to me anyway, so there will be interactions between all the characters, but the most important interactions will be between Snape and Hermione and Eileen, who have to reach some kind of understanding in order for the traditional "happy ending" to occur. So, yes, Eileen and Hermione will interact, Eileen and Hugo, Eileen and Rose and a few others. People often wonder what's going on with other characters in a story, so I like to show them. They don't just disappear. lol.
But, being the HG/SS lover I am, there may be one or two tantalizing moments between them, harmless enough but-- there it is, for now.
