nice chap... and a little aggressive smut with draco... poor ron and harry it has to be tough without hermione or at least worrying about her... I wonder who got her it had to be someone in the ministry hmmm... but no one really knew what she had found out right? i wonder at first i thought about keller but he is distraught as well he was in love with her??? hmmm ok update soon please i am looking for more hints.. :)

Awesome story...I cant wait for the next chapter. Will Hermione start talking and will Harry or Ron figure out what happened her? ^_^ I just cant wait! ....

Oh, I quite like this! I like your writing style and the plot is wonderfully creative. Your grammar could use some work but I'm sure this problem will be rendered nonexistent as soon as you find a Beta (what is really rather lovely as well as convenient is the fact that there is no way the *story* need be improved, just the grammar, and that can be easily fixed).

I don't know if you have a LiveJournal account but I wish you would get one at least in order to post links to the updates over at this community called 'Dramione' (the URL is http://community.livejournal.com/dramione). I am not on AFF often and I would hate to lose track of this story.

No, I'm not disappointed, at all. You gave us more detail while deepening the mystery. I'm still dying for answers to the questions raised in the first chapter: Who was the person in Hermione's office who trapped her in the painting, and how did he or she know Hermione had twigged to what was going on? Is Willow Summertree knowingly involved with what's happening to these missing girls, or is someone using her paintings for his/her own dark purposes? Is that why her paintings are being stolen? With the addition of this new chapter, we now know why Draco was in new York, but what was he doing while he was there? How has he changed? Who was the creepy old lady who sold Draco the painting? It seems Hermione can't move, but is she conscious?

So many questions, so little patience until the next chapter is posted. I'm sure you'll find a beta soon, but if not, I hope you won't wait too long to post the next chapter. You can always post now, and edit the chapters after a beta has gone through them. Although, if you are going to talk about Draco's real estate agent again, please call her a realty witch rather than a reality witch. Other than that...I'm looking forward to seeing this story unfold.

Wow, you've really got something along the lines of detective noire going on here. Not in the details--hard-boiled detective comes across a mystery and in solving it, usually either falls for the wrong kind of girl who he ends up having to send off to prison, or the right kind of girl who remains beyond his reach--so much as in the atmosphere of alienation and isolation, the sense that there are no happy endings, so much as matters drawing to a conclusion while life goes on. (I would not mind being proven wrong. *G*) Draco's one night stand is clearly not going to lead to anything other than convenient sex, and he doesn't even seem to want to renew his friendships from his school days. I predict a very awkward dinner with Pansy and Greg. Interesting that an original character has fallen for Hermione. I am curious as to where you will take that. Then again, I'm curious about a lot of things in this fic. You've answered my questions about what Draco was doing in the U.S, and given hints of how he's been changed, but all my other questions remain. I look forward to reading more, and learning the answers.

great chap i liked that you updated us on draco these are things that we needed to know bc we do not know who he is sense he has been away.... so he purchased the pic and it seems that hermione is the girl i wonder how is going to figure out that it is her...
