Hello. I believe "MLC" is a marriage law challenge.
Great story. It's a wonder one of the books that Hermione read about Life Debts didn't mention about blood being involved and what could occur.
Ron's attitude against Draco is a given. Does Ron's heart realise no matter how much he loves Hermione he will never receive her love back and that's why he has cut her off to himself completely?
Will Draco being sending a dress and some of his elves to Hermione's to get her ready for the ball?
Does her elves realise she's being watched by the Malfoy elves? Why haven't they said anything to her about it? Do they already know there is a blood bond and that's why they haven't said a word because Draco is also their master?
Well enough questions for now.

EEEh GADS! I'm so excited for what is to come. I know he wants Hermione's mind as well as her body, but I hope she demands his heart. Oh lord, this is such a promising beginning! Great work!

FANTASTIC update!! Goodness, the more I read the more I get addicted. I love this already. I kind of think it's totally romantic that Draco's wanted Hermione all these years. But I'm curious, is he actually in love with her? I can't wait for more. And if reviewing will help you to write and update quickly, then I will faithfully continue to review!

Sum of the key words that stood out for me in this very telling chapter are: life mate, blood bond, life bond, debt, blood, claim.

I like how this story explains Draco's reasoning behind saving her life. And also sheds some light on Ron's reaction... maybe Ron realized before anyone else that Draco had a sort of attraction to Hermione before the war. And he felt inadequate so he took it out on Hermione, ultimately ending their friendship before a relationship could start. Does that make sense? hmm.

Anywho, I wonder does Draco LOVE Hermione or does he just want to dominate her? I mean it is clear that he respects her since he puts her on such a pedastal but I mean if the way he treats his trainees is the way he will treat Hermione, what does that say about his "feelings" if he has any for her. Or if its just an obsession to control her? idk.

I can't wait to see what happens at this ball? Will Ron be there? Throwing another hissy fit? What will Harry say about Draco?

I'm stoked... can't wait for more.

I liked the first chapter, very intriguing idea.
I wanted to comment on your author's note about starting so many stories only to lose interest, I completely understand, half the time I'm driving home I hear a song, get an idea, put it on paper the next day and then nothing else happens, so I also have several 'starts' that have gone nowhere.
The only thing I can say is to maybe focus on one-shots :) At least it will get the idea out of your head and maybe your muse will find something they like enough to continue.

Okay, off to check out the rest fo the story :)

okay, I like the fact that Draco has waited until he claims Hermione, giving them both time. But I am highly anticipating the Ball and her reaction to him.
So, the reason she hasn't found the right guy is from the blood oath huh? kewl!
I feel for the poor girls, but hey, if he went in telling them straight up, they should have closed off their emotions and just let loose with the physical!
