Bravo Emily for handling such a serious and depraved scene so well. As sick as this was, it fits into the decline we see in Harry's mental state, his rapidly crumbling sense of morality, and his negative impact on those around him. All I can do for Sev now is weep. I was taken aback at Harry's reaction to George's discomfort, and at that point I realized how far gone our Harry really is. How can he ever be redeemed after this? Is it possible...or will this be your first truly dark fic? I'm here with you to the end nevertheless, and I can't wait to see where you go from here.

yeesh! aside from feeling my very insides twist and cringe at the content of this chapter, i thought it was artistically written. there was something ugly and poetic to see these young men who supposedly stood on the side of 'light', or whatever you want to call it, act in such a brutal and disgusting manner toward one they consider an enemy. it's so typical in war for soldiers to violate those on the other side simply because their being enemies justifies it for them somehow. it's like lee, oliver and george forgot that this is why they fought the deatheaters. and yet, they feel completely free to act in the same fashion. i'm hoping that george is only acting like this in order to get snape out of the house, though i wont bet the farm. heh. i'm more curious to see more about harry's mind control thing. keep up the good work. oh and if anyone gives you crap about the brutality of this chapter, kindly remind them that you gave quite an adequate warning at the top of the page. i say this because it's happened to me several times.

I find myself torn between utter amusement and pity for the agony Snape is subject to. Nevertheless, I love this story and I wish to see it through. Your writing is also smooth and allows enough detail for the reader to picture the scene before them. I also want to thank you for the frequent updates.

Hermione seems less than competent in this story. If she was able to keep Snape in a coma for five years, why was she unable to transfigure something else into a copy of Snape's body (and she would do the job all the way to the DNA, of course), have "Snape" die, and then spirit the real one out of Britain? Yes, yes, the Slave Bond is really bad, but so is dying by torture by Harry's hand (and during this time Harry would have been getting worse and worse).
And of course there are the portraits. Even if Harry doesn't believe Dumbledore's, there are other portraits in the Head office who would be able to testify to other things they heard that would back up Dumbledore. Yes, Albus kept the mostly deadly stuff away from them, but when he was a portrait himself, I'm sure there would have been discussions that the other portraits would have listened into. Would _all_ of them lie? Even Harry would find it hard to think so, though I expect he'd give it a shot.
After all, the other portraits are not sworn to Albus any more, and can tell what he was up to. Still amazed Harry hasn't blamed the Dursleys on Snape yet...

Oh, God... Draco did it. Instead of helping Severus he'll be the nail on his confine...

Harry is so fucking out of his mind and at the same time for some reason this is hot. I feel awful thinking so since Severus seems to be trapped in a living hell but there it is. Draco was wonderfully pitiful and unfortunately in character here and I hope Harrry really doesn't plan to hold him for 20 years, I'm not even sure he could last that long. He just seems so fragile. I am glad that Sev stepped up for his godson, but what an awful way to save a life. He's done so much for so many and now this...if and when Harry realizes what a nutjob he's being he's gonna feel like shit and I can't wait, even though I suspect he really can't be blamed for acting like a sadistic ass

OH YES!!! Call me a sicko...but that was just freakin' Hot Emily : ) I love the you write slavery....even when the characters are not willing.....this story just got 10 times more interesting and it was already enthralling to began with....Poor Severus....he would have been correct to answer yes to showing that Muggle girl mercy...but he's so self loathing he doesn't even see the nobility in his own actions. I'm loving him more and more...and why does Harry as a cruel sadistic Master totally rock my world? I still hate the bastard, but damn he's sexy here : )
