I really enjoyed this story. It's well-written and well-plotted. Still, there was a minor thing that struck a raw nerve in me. When it mentioned that Snape was depressed the next description of it was sulking. That's painful to hear; it minimizes the suffering inherent in clinical depression, like the feeling nothing is going to get better, being numb, and the sheer self-loathing. I know it's just a detail but it carries unfortunate implications. Still, overall, well done.

I have just finished reading your story, which was a nice and pleasant experience.
I really liked the dark Harry and the plot was nice and simple. I didn't really understand the arguments for how Voldemort and the Horcruxes was dead and gone, and that there was still a fragment left in Harry. That didn't really make sense in my mind, but beside that fact, the story line was well put out.
I was a little worried about your warnings but I must say that it wasn't even nearly as bad as I though it was. Guess I have read much worse stories than yours. But still warnings are nice.
Your language and characters were nicely build and will an eye for extra details.
I will try to look into your other work when I have time.
Thanks for the entertainment! Anne

i have spent the last few days reading this from start to finish.... it made for sleepless nights and work seem endless.... i just wanted to get back to the story. i really.... really enjoyed it. book 2 has a whole different flow to it. after the horrors of book one it was a relief. but such is life. it is the natural flow of things.

Just finished reading this fic for the first time and I just wanted to let you know that I really liked it. There are a lot of slavefics that abuse and overcome and then everything just fixes itself, and it was really nice to see one where the problems continued and sometimes could not be totally resolved. It was more real, and more potent. Thanks for the story!
