You did a wonderful job.
I love that he was on the other side of the door listening to her. Yes, he invaded her privacy, but would she ever have told him otherwise. Most likely not. It is not in our nature to explain our feelings, just deal with them and see what happens, hoping for the best, usually not getting it.
Communication is the #1 problem in my marriage of 19 yrs. Sure, the sex is great, but when you cannot talk to each other about how you really feel or what you really want, it really hurts the relationship.
So, kudos to Lucius for being sneaky!!! :)

One thing is for certain, you sure can write smut. It's outstanding...I fortunately caught up with this story and read it.
That last chapter was breathtaking, it had so much emotion in it.
Lucius bearing his heart to Hermione and asking her for another chance was written perfectly.
It was a great decision to turn this into a story...excellent work.

While I enjoy all 5 chapters, chapter 5 is my favorite. A bad Lucius is erotic but a loving Lucius is incredible sexy and more than a huge turn-on! To put it mildly, he did right by her in this chapter. Love the last couple of lines of Lucius with his head on her chest, Hermione's hands in his hair and his feeling of being wrapped in her arms for comfort -- just lovely. Brava!!

I think the fifth and latest is probably the best installment of this little collection. You've taken a fairly vanilla type of smut that is often, frankly, boring to read and turned it into something I forced myself to slow down and enjoy. I've read needs-love/vulnerable!Lucius before, but I'm not sure that I've ever really believed it as much as I do here. Well done, indeed.

As I read this amazing, awesomely HOT story and wishing like HELL I was Hermione here, I am also watching The Patriot (in HD, thank God!) and realizing anew that Jason Isaacs really is one of the Sexiest, most Beautiful men on Earth. Period. End of Story. Well done!
