Veela fics are my favorite. Dark and angsty are always the best, I can't imagine anything having enough influence on draco that would causes him to become fluffy. Anyway, I absolutely adore this story and am a big fan of your others. Please keep going.
Suggestions for dark veela fic.
- unhappy and feisty hermione - its always strange to think of stubborn hermione simply rolling over on her back because of a man
- physical transformation - in many veela fics, draco is exposed, but has very little effect on his body, I think the best stories are when draco has to accept another being into his psyche and is physically changed because of it - one example of this is the wonderful story called Malfoy's Mate
- Believable teacher intervention
- Life/blood bonds
- Ministry intervention - for example, making it illegal to kill a veela, and regulating the mating of such creatures
- However, you are the wonderful author and i trust you to write an excellent story using whatever elements you like.

Loved the update. I don't think anyone's paired Blaise with Luna in a realistic sort of way. I liked the other interests you gave them both. :D

I like seeing the assorted Department people very much; Christine's fussing is adorable. It's nice to see their friends reactions to the whole thing. The Blaise and Luna thing is different, but plausible the way you present it. Not that he's madly in love and indulgent, but that she has valid publications and he's truly interested in her work.
I like Hermione's answer to Harry's comment about Ron and Lavender's happiness. Although you would think a new baby girl would be a pretty big distraction. I'm curious about whether Ron is going to become a subplot (i.e. freaking out and hitting on Hermione) or just a side note.
