awwwww are Ruby and Ron going to fall for one another? Oh I'd love it. She'd be perfect for his fiery temper, she'd give just as good as she got. Not to mention his sweet goofy nature would be great for her emotionally.
I think my favorite part was the bathroom scene. I loved that it was Draco who held her and carried her, who had thrown his cloak about her. Draco is usually gruff and you rarely ever see a soft side to him. He's sarcastic and selfish, and so when he is selfless and hs selflessness is written well, it makes for an amazing scene in your story. Same with Snape. I've always loved Severus. In the books, the movies and in certain fan fics.
I think you're doing fabulously with this story. It was a great transition chapter you just wrote. I always find those the hardest. You can't put too much information and events in them or else its just another dramatic chapter. They need to informative without being over the top. I must say you accomplished that very successfully.
I eagerly await your next installment. <3

Wonderful story!! You certainly have a great amount of ingenuity and you're a talented author...The part of the ritual chant that you used was from Macbeth, and it was the part that said "Eye of newt, and toe of frog, Wool of bat, and tongue of dog, Adder

Oooh, I've got brownie points knowledge!!!
It's from Something Wicked This Way comes, and the quote is
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing
By the way, excellent writing. I look forward to the next chapter.
