Please update soon, I can't wait for more smut in the potions closet. A quickie in the closet sounds like a lot of fun.
Well, lots of questions were answered in this chapter and the most important one for me was that they both have real feelings for each other. This is one time that I'm glad Dumbledore decided to interfere and manipulate, now they have to stay together and since all the effects of the curse don't seem to have subsided yet, she
still needs access to his soothing ministrations.

Either Voldemort lied, or they have formed a bond that can't be broken with the release of the spell. Trudy is truly a sad character. Lestrange did a job on her, and now Snape is having to do the same. I enjoyed the chapter, even if it was a little depressing to think of Trudy's plight and that of her daughter.

Wow... I'm really excited to read the rest of this story! A Lestrange as Elizabeth's father... that's quite the twist. :) I love that Trudy is so real. She's not a Mary-Sue, she's not normal, predictable, she's different. And I really, really like it. She's so... believable, so much a real person. So excellent job. :) I can't wait to see Snape try to explain his whole agent/double agent/triple agent thing... XD

Chapter 10: This was an excellent forward-moving chapter, well worth the wait. Voldemort is coldhearted, but he knuckled under to Elizabeth. I would love to have heard that three-way Parseltongue conversation. Snape and Trudy got the worst of it this time. It

(Chapter 10)
So Trudy's daughter is a Lestrange. Which begs the question, why would a Lestrange marry a Muggle? So maybe Trudy isn't a Muggle after all? Or was this Daniel Lestrange a renegade from the family? Hmm. I'll stop speculating now and wait for the next update. Which I hope will be soon!

you know one thing i like about this story was Trudy calling the dark lord Voldemort, but no one else has the guts to say that name, even snape. Trudy also calls him different things that no wizard would call him. It really reminds you that Trudy is a muggle and until now she hasn't seem the horrors that voldemort has done.
I really like your latest chapter. Can't wait for you to update!

I used the address in your profile to send you my email address.
I've never seen 'He Who I Find Most Tedious & Tiresome' use Owl Post before, but I guess that would be a lot less painful than using the dark mark to communicate with him.
This chapter really showed me where your title comes from, he really was between a rock and a hard place there. Trudy's daughter must be exceptionally smart and brave for her age to save her mother like that. She's the only one I've ever seen negotiate with 'HW', and on top of that she won the negotiation. Good for her! At least we know she's safe. I wonder if maybe Nagini has gone over to her side? You know, 'HW' thinks he is brilliant, but I think he's pretty d*mn stupid, and he's not even an inbred pureblood.
I hope the release from the curse didn't take or that it has lasting side effects, I don't want to lose any smut because of that.

Thanks so much for emailing me to let me know this was up again - I've lost track of some of my favourite stories and writers since the reorganisation here; I really appreciate it.
Four fantastic chapters to enjoy on a Sunday morning as well. I was just drowning in a surfeit of lemon-scented bliss when the last chapter woke me up and shook me. Terrific, powerful stuff with the plot coming back into play. That scene with Voldemort was authentically creepy; my hackles rose. Elizabeth a Parseltongue! Trudy married to a Lestrange! The curse meant for Dumbledore (ew, she had a stroke of luck there, at least)!
I love this; it's so good to be back in the loop with it.

Oh, crap. She was with one of the Lestranges? That's quite a twist, and a little information that might have helped earlier on. I wonder how Snape will react to that news.
I loved the dual role that Snape has to play, and how he hates doing it. Poor guy, now that he has Trudy, he truly is screwed. In all ways.
Great chapter. I look forward to more.

I must admit that I am very impressed by your story. Trudy is very realistic in a very unreal situation. Although I wouldn't mind slipping between the sheets with Snape now and again *wink*. I think you deserve many more reviews than what you've received and AFF.net needs to reinstate their Snape/OFC so that a stunning example such as your story doesn't go missed by careless eyes.
