Whoa! I was not expecting that! Beyond the fact that Severus (see you got me calling him Severus now) has a dungeon in his basement (HOT!), for Harry to ask him to lead him to it and to tell him he wanted to know him completely and give him everything he wanted was so intimate in itself. the slave bond is in full effect but I'm not completely convinced that it was even needed to get Harry to this point. The whole collaring scene was so well done! I've never read a real collaring in fan fiction and you really capture the depth of what it means to both of them...it's not flippant, it's like this is who I am, and I'm offering to you and the anguish and reluctant acceptance of Harry's total submission was so great...we see that Severus really does take owning him seriously, that he's really in love and how much he really regrets what he did and how it changes how he views himself as a Master. You've giving this Master/slave relationship really great complexity that you don't see in most bdsm fan fics. Awesome awesome chapter...can't wait to see where they go from here...

I want more! Heh. It will be a sad day when this story ends (plz, hopefully HAPPILY) because I feel like I can never get enough of it. Constant refreshing to see if it has been updated .. really just means I should get a life. :D This chapter was brilliant, and well needed (for all of us, I think) after so much sadness.

Chapter 38 review

Wow that was one hell of a hot session. I never knew one could be caned bccause of wallowing in self pity and pushing your friends away, I really find it sweet that Severus made Harry realize that he should not do that

@Ch. 35. Awww...Fred and Lupin? Why you bringing up old shit? This reminds me of last summer when I finished DH.....sniff sniff. Seriously what a sad chapter. I liked the heart to heart Snape and Harry had about Lupin and his past. I'm glad Harry knows the truth. You're really creating a complex, humane and sexy Snape...

This is so sad. I'm glad Ron and Hermione haven't given up on him though, of course they wouldn't...but Harry is really fighting himself and them isn't he? I don't like Snape's dream...sounds like a premonition....just hope it's not final.
