This story was totally AWESOME! It was just wonderful! Are you going to do a sequel like you said you were going to?? I loved how you mixed Roman history with Harry Potter. That was amazing! and accurate! well I mean some of it was! lol I love history (I'm a history major in college) and so it was just great! Anyway I hope you do a sequel as that would sooo COOL!

Okay, I gotta say, I've read your story over 10 times but I've never read to the end. I always stopped at chapter 8 or something (when Snape figures out a way to go back) because I got so pissed off that they were leaving. Now that I finished it for the first time...I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT TO READ THE SEQUEL! :D I love your story so much. I have literally read it 10 times and each time I cry at the part where Harry mocks Severus by saying 'on your knees, beautiful whore' part. Of course, other parts as well but honestly, I've never been able to read a story again and have the same emotions evoked in me and yet your story is so wonderfully written that I cry every time, laugh every time and just all around ENJOY it every time.

I have no way to express my happiness, exuberance, joy, ecstatic-ness at this story. It's simply THE best story I've ever read. I think I've fallen in love with you! Or at least your writing. :P I really can't wait for the sequel. I want to know how well Apisus is doing. His letter hints at his well-being but I would love to actually be a part of it. You know? (Sorry for the long review)

I looooove your story!! I've read "Concubine" too (hope so much you'll finish that one soon) and "Eileen's Story" and I'm completely in love with your work (starting on "For Services Rendered" now).

I don't review often but I just had to this time (I even registered!) I'm an Latin student and I simply loved how you described the ancient Rome. It really came alive.

Now as I don't review often I'm really crap at it (and my English stinks) so I'll just say goodbye and I hope you'll post many more juicy stories.

I absolutely CANNOT wait for the sequel!!!!!! I... words just completely escape me at how amazing your fic is. It's so perfect and unbelievably clever! I a few chapters in, I started thinking, "wouldn't that be wicked if these characters were the ancestors to those of the HP universe?" And they were! I loved it so much!!! The last chapter made me cry. OMG I had been waiting for it for so long, I thought you never updated it! So I went looking and somehow you sneaked it in there! =P I'm so excited to see what you do for the next one! Keep up the amazing work and I'll keep stalking you for updates!!!

First of all, let me state that it was sheer luck that I read this story at all. I try my best to avoid long fics (multiple chapters or even a single long chapter scare me off nearly every time), and I have pretty much no interest in history (at least not Roman history). However, this was reccomended by someone with extremely good taste, and I happened to have some time to kill, so I read it. I can honestly say this is one of the best fics I've read.

You've actually managed to make me intested in history, while at the same time giving me some hot Snarry action, an amazing plot, true canon-based closure, and an ending that has me begging for more. Thank you for a brilliant story. I can't wait for the sequel.
