What has Harry learnt from the dementor?
The dementors refuse to leave Hogwarts causing an outcry and Fudge is removed as the minister. Bones comes in as tempory minister and SB gets a trial. Couch, Bagnold, Fudge, Moody and Dumbledore are tried for sending someone to Azkaban without a trial. The truth about the prophecy and AD needing a meek BWL comes out. if SB had raised HP he would not be AD pawn and would not tolerate that. AD past and hunger for power are revealed. While all this going on HP has been to the Dursleys by AD. it is also revealed that Petunia is no blood sister of Lily, who had been adopted - no blood wards! The dementors move a guard for Harry to Surrey to protect him. The Dursleys continue the abuse so the dementors retaliate and move Harry to Azkaban!

I realize its been years since you wrote this story but I really like it and think you should continue. It actually has a unique plot that i've never read anything like it before and i read a lot of these stories. So if you actually ever see this please continue this story! =)

Perhaps leave him unconscious for a few days, let some of the knowledge sink in, and then start explaining the quest and what happens now that Moldy Shorts ( ;> ) no longer controls the dementors?

This is interesting. Are you going to update? That sounds pompous of me, but it's so hard to find a well written dementor story out there. Awesome plot, though.

Ok so I like the story so far the Dementors thing is great! You asked for suggestions so i have a few for you.
What about a race of wizards that had tapped into a higher source of power? They could have been a threat to the Ministry so they could have locked their soul within the body, taken away the light inside and left it to fend for itself. Creating the Dementors.
Because Harry has taken the knowledge from this Dementors he could start having flashes of that Dementors past life; his family, playing with his children. That sort of thing.
He could tell Ron and Hermione but they could find it hard to believe him. He could then tell Dumbledore who says he will have lessons in Occlumency with Snape who sees the past memories of the Dementors and realises the face as his great, great etc, uncle or something.
Harry could start having magical outbursts in school because of this new Dementors thing and in some way could be sent to Snape to learn the dark magic needed to control it and use it, Snape could bring in Lucius to help and find out in some way that Snape has been trying to help find this missing race along with Lucius because they both have family members taken.
We could find out that this is the power the dark lord knows not; meaning this old race and its ability to tap into higher powers

How about Harry has to stay with Severus because no one knows what will happen to Harry as aresult of being kissed and living? He could meet Draco and Lucius at Severus', maybe he catches sight of them when they are without their 'Slytherin Masks'. They could teach him about using his inner Slytherin.

Ooh nice... Perhaps you can do a usual 'hospital wing' scene, including Dumbledore asking what happened, and Harry's response, with Harry having changed due to the knowledge...

Very interesting, I must say! This is by far one of the most unique stories I've read in a very long time.
Ooh. Poor Harry...I certainly don't envy him for having to make kissy faces with the Dementors. Perhaps the entire route of the books could be changed with this. You-Know-Who always had control of the Dementors, but if Harry is this 'Chosen One,' he might be able to use them for the Light.
Dumbledore...should be the comic relief. He has always been a source of a few comedic words in he books, even if he was damn annoying for keeping info in until the last minute. Maybe he could do that with this story...him and his damned twinkly eyes...
