You write the most beautiful scenes. I love a chapter like this that is fun and beautiful, I can see this scene played out perfectly. I know you were working on the way you write the setting of a scene and I have to say you have it down now. Great dialogue (as always) and now perfect scene setting. Promise you won't leave us now you are a true blue auther. HUGS.

Okay, what Severus said to Sirius was absolutely hilarious and completely caught me off guard. I loved it!

SG - I'm glad you liked my Lucifer comment - I wrote it just as soon as I finished that chapter, not even waiting to read the remaining new material. My heart was still pounding from the scare. Get it??? It was a really, really good device!

(Or maybe I'm simple....but I don't think so.)

Anyway, I'm so glad you're going to seminars and workshops - you're serious about developing your talent (and it's a very big talent). "Good for you!" sounds terribly insipid. Perhaps, "Thank you, thank you for cutting your teeth on entertaining us!" is more to the point.

Thank you for the additional update today. It was such a welcome surprise! I usually lurk, but I just wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying this story! I love how Severus has started to hold his own against the Marauders and that Lily is helping Hermione and Severus - I was afraid she would be jealous and try to ruin things. I can't wait until tomorrow's update (fingers crossed)! Oh, and a plea - Please let Severus keep his memories!! :)

Very good chapter. I think the darkness that Dumbledore is referring to is maybe Lucius is coming soon to ask him to join the Death Eaters..that's the best I can come up with. Can't wait for more.
