Truly beautiful and touching. I definitely had tears in my eyes for much of the story. It's refreshing to read a story written only from severus' point of view which is so often neglected or innacurate if their relationship was canon. I can't find any other stories like this, and I have been searching for a long time- writers seem to be more keen to write cliche smut rather than the unique relationship between the two, which makes them such an inspiring couple to read/write about. Really well done.

Hello! I looked on your profile after your review of my story (and thank you so much for it, btw).

This story is so beautiful. Even though the chapters are short I don't think i've ever felt so accutely in tune with a character's pain as Severus' in your story. The uncluttered nature of it only did it more justice.

Really, very touching! I will read the others when I get some time.

Feeling accomplished? Does it feel bitter-sweet like sending the kids to college? Sometimes I feel a little sad when a story is over and I am just a reader. However since you still have some stories to finish and they all have your wonderful Severus it is not too, too sad.

Your story inspired a bit of an exercise back when I was complaining your summary was not good enough for your story. It occurred to me that I wanted to see what color would make me think of my loved ones (one color for each one). The thing is that since we all have brown eyes I could not go with that and there was not a distinctive favorite color either. So I decided to just close my eyes and think of one person and see what would happen. I started with my brother since his death has always been a source of heartache and it seemed that would be helpful in this case. It turns out chuckles is what I relate my brother with and that was unexpected, I thought it would be something visual.
Anyhow, that made me wonder what kind of things would make Harry think of Severus while they were apart. Was it the sound of fast steps down a corridor? The smell of a potion ingredient? The color black? Bats?

I do hope that this is just the first of many finished stories and that they are all appreciated by your readers.

Powerful beginning. My heart just lurches when reading those last words, "Take...it...take it." Yes, I'm finally boning up on my To Read list! :) Good first chapter. On to the next!

I like despairing, attentive, edge-of-forgiveness Severus. He's much easier to work with, y'know? Very expressive chapter, especially Harry's apology and forgiveness. I've been waiting for that catharsis since Book One!

Oh, Severus. He can never resolve to be content or just not unhappy. Such a stubborn man who needs a bubbly spirit like Harry (or Starbucks) to frak him from his funk. Did I detect an underlying flavor of jealousy while he casually mentioned Harry might still be dating Ginny? Gotta love that UST. ^^

Together. Ouch. Made me wince. At the very least I'm glad he didn't spray acid on the green and kill it. That would be very bad....
