Wow, that preview...please continue soon. I like the way you write. I don't know what to think of Michael's reaction, it almost seems too good to be true. Pesonally, I've always told my boyfriend that if he were to cheat and it was a one-time thing no feelings involved, I don't want to know. The cheater punishes himself/herself far more than a partner could, and your story shows that nicely. (With Hermione feeling instantly better after having told.) Telling only causes the partner to feel bad as well, while they don't deserve to.
I'm curious to how you will continue, it's clear Hermione and Draco are going to see some more action and of course, I don't mind that at all. I only hope Michael won't get too hurt.

I'm glad you're back with this raw, painful, deeply disturbed and wonderful fic. My heart bleeds for Hermione. She's so torn about her attraction to Draco. He is so cruel to her, so sadistic yet he wants her so much. What attracts her to him? Her kindness, her light? That she would never consider him because deep down he knows what a fucked up asshole he really is? She sees him for what and who he is.

I'm nervous about the next chapter and I'm so intrigued about how this is going to end.

HELL YES, I want a sequel. When they're all grown up, post-war, post-hogwarts. A gorgeous grown up Granger, independent, strong willed versus a maniacal, mental Malfoy, savage, hot, obsessed. Both in love/in hate with each other to the point of pain. Both hopefully finding each other though the road would be fucked up!

PS: Have you ever read Out of a Silent Planet? That Draco reminds me a bit of your Draco.

goodness, that was beyond hot - I'm trembling right now. So glad your hiatus was short. Ok, my heart cracks everytime Draco says those things to her - it just cracks. His cruelty and horrible behaviour is clear that he's disgusted with himself. I hope Hermione remains strong, she doesn't deserve to be used. Though Draco is starting to act like that Alpha Fireball isn't he? I keep going back to the opening chapter and re-reading Hermione's letter - its a great foreshadowing tool and lead in for his reaction - which will no doubt be violent.

I have to say that Draco's characterization is perfect: sadistic, dominant, possessive, psychotic at times, cruel yet he can also be gentle. Talk about internal struggle. I'm wondering at what point he'll now attempt to beat Michael to a bloody pulp.

Q: is the war over? it is isn't it? I think I missed you mentioning it. Can't wait for more.

YES!!! I'm so happy you didn't abandon this...that was completely AWESOME. One of the things I love about this story is how in character they both are...especialy Draco. It's damn sexy that's he's battling himself with how much he wants her and that he's not dropping his snide and hateful veneer even though it's obvious she's getting to him. That was HOT!!! I can't imagine what it's gonna be like when they finally do it..and if he'll soften up towards her. I have no idea where you're going with this, but I'll be here for the ride.
