Ohhhh, you're finally updating my favorite story!
Chapter was a little short, but still good.
If Slughorn is a Legilimens, won't Riddle be in trouble now? He'd be able to find out from the others that he was involved!

I whole-heartedly agree with Kanashii, on all accounts. I have also read 'Broken by the Dark Lord', which is an excellent story too! Certainly recommended.
Looking forward to more updates.

Hi Again Pensieve:
I must confess that THIS is my most favorite of your stories thus far, even though it is not finished.
Why? Because I love the story, the build up and tension of Tom Riddle and what we WISHED we could see as his transformation as a student through Hogwarts. The plot is fast paced and riveting and draws me in completely.
Granted, I love a little sex with my story, but I am one of those "odd" authors who really values a long and detailed story. One that pulls the reader with it along on a wonderous journey.
Your other stories are quite good too, the violence, etc. Doesn't bother me at all. I've written much worse in my own fanfics (Both HP and non-HP), but what reeled me in, hook line and sinker to your story was how we view this (in a roundabout way) through Eileen Prince's view. It shows how people were drawn in (even seemingly "innocently") into the inner folds of what would soon become Lord Voldemort's most sadistic and cruel inner sanctum, the Death Eaters. :)
Tom/young Lord Voldemort is portrayed stunningly real and vivid in your story. I love the way you show us, the readers how his mind works, the genius, the cruelness, the true belief "He is the best, and all others are mere pawns in his plans". I will be checking this story VERY frequently and I hope you are not offended when I say that I think this is truly your finest work of all! :)
Of course the fact that it is long, and looks as if it will be a fairly long novel when finished pulls me in as well. Er, I am rather a fan of long stories.
I think you might like "Broken By the Dark Lord", as our portrayals of Voldemort are very similar and realistic. Cruel!
Keep up the excellent work, and a hearty BRAVA to you!
Warmly,
Kanashii

Wonderful story Pensive!
There are just not enough true "dark Voldemort" stories out there, and I for one love a story that truly TELLS a story. To many people forget Voldemort is a cruel, amoral and vicious person who cares only for himself. I am only up to chapter 13 but love where you are going with this. It reminded me how much fun I had writing my Voldemort story. :)
I will leave another review when I have finished the story, and I look forward to more of your "Dark Lord's" stories. Keep up the great work!

Kanashii

WOW, this is a really good story! I'm loving it...
I'm not through all the chapters yet, but I read a fair few (when I should have been doing other things). It's hard to stop reading!
