I just started reading the books about Tasslehoff, and I'm SO excited that your name really is from that. I didn't get to finish reading them yet because of school, but I cannot wait to read more. I love your story as well. Can't wait for more!

Oooh, lovely. Simply lovely. Thank you for the update! I think Lucius' story was beautiful, and I loved Narcissa's comment at the end. Maybe they'll come around to liking Hermione, eventually..? Eh, one can hope. Can't wait for more!

Hmm, I don't see Lucius as abusive, just incredibly strict. he wants the best from his son - and he's putting a lot of pressure on him to be the best.
I do like your take on Narcissa - she's a real spitfire, isn't she! Most paint her as a wilting flower who stands there and looks pretty - you made her much more 3D and more involved in the chapter.

Even though it was short I'm glad you updated. I really like this fic and look forward to each new chappie as it appears. I can't wait for the remaining four chappters and especially the epilogue!

Oh my Go....
This is frackin' fantastic! I started reading it once before, I think it was on hpff or ffnet, but then sometime around the bowling scene, I somehow lost it. Then, later, I would see the updates and think it sounded familiar, but pass it up and go on to the next story. I AM SOOOOO SORRY!!!! I just sat here and read chapters 6 through 16 and I can only say how impressed I am with your writing, your imagination, your depth of feeling, your ingenuity, and your ability to weave the book into this story. Wow, simply does not cover it. Of all the stories I have read in the Dramione fic area, and there have been many, I have only ever had one real favorite; Draco Phoenix Rising. I now have two. Please update again soon. I honestly am waiting for more and will be obsessively checking until it shows up. Thank you thank you thank you!
