prologue:
omg. that was so sad. i love remmy having a brother rom. it's so...cliche, but awesome. i hate their parents!! but i think i'm supposed too, soo... i don't care too much. it also accured to me, as i went to go on, that they are moving into the shrieking shack, pre-shrieking. right?
chapter one:
the first thought in my mind when sirius's mum yelled at him was, 'god, what a bitch'. poor sirius. he's so screwed. no dada books, an owl that bites, slytherin robes, and no friends (yet). that sucks.~

Thank you so much for updating so surprisingly quickly! This story is so sweet and so utterly desirable! I have been following it for months, and I continuously can't wait for more. This is one of the greatest retellings I could have imagined. Frankly, this is the only slash pairing in HP that ever made sense (ignoring the Dumbledore/Grindelwald thing) and you have handled it better than any other story I've read. Others have been clever or sexy or cute, but only yours has been handled with a delicate sweetness that is endearing and appropriate and unbelievably wonderful. I love this story, and I love happy endings and retellings of badly handled canon characters, and I'll say it again, I can't wait for more!

Sirius's Uncle Alphard is great. Aside from being the only "cool" uncle to the boys that they have, he is at least really trying to be supportive of his nephew.

I don't know when I missed the last update, but I'm so excited that everything worked out well for Remus. I was really worried for a while there. I hope Greyback won't try to actually take responsiblity for Remus, but it does seem almost fitting that he is able to save his life after being the direct cause of his misery.

So I finally just got through the last of the chapters. It took me HOURS to finish but here I am, all the information and wonderful writing locked in my head as I sit here impatiently awaiting more. -sigh- Anyway, I'm surprised that more people haven't read your story, and even more surprised they haven't reviewed it. I myself was a bit apprehensive but I gave it a go and I enjoyed it thoroughly. :D You're quite talented. But aside from that I'm glad you've kept up with this and I hope you don't drop dead any time soon, that would be really quite tragic. Not only because you would be dead but this story would remain unfinished. Hmm... But I suppose it would be worse that you'd be dead than the story not be finished... Uhm... Yeah... So, uh... Heheh? That sounded kind of lame...

Keep the great work, but do it quickly. I really want to know what will happen to Remus. And poor Sirius. I loved their first kiss. But oh my god. Gah. I need the next update!

OKie. You've managed two feats with this story. Fist is the fact that it is a rare occasion when I start to read something that's over three chapters long already, heck most of the time I try to stick with one shots or completed stories. You've also made me register with this website- something I have been putting off for a couple years-- just so I could review.

This story is fresh, compelling, and quite well written. Your style is anything but boring, and I felt myself not being able to press "next chapter" quickly enough. ((It even kept me from going to bed at three am as I had planned, instead I was up until five.)) I love your take on Rom. I adore it. And I like the exclusion of Sirri by Peter and James at first. It just really fit well.

Bonus points other things. Such as developing the centaurs into a full fledged society that would even consider being friends with Remmie and Rom. Also, including the Blacks, Rita, the Potters, and other background-yet-essential characters in full form. You've certainly done a wonderful job with keeping your characters distinct.

Much love for this story and author. I can't wait for more.
