That's an interesting AU so far. What time period is it in? I'm not sure about the amnesia though. It's so over done and rarely done well.

Another great chapter. I think it's great that Albus wants to raise Hermione as his granddaughter since she knows nothing about herself. I think aging her faster would work for this story. You can always write in flashbacks for anything important that happened while she was young. I can't wait to read more soon.

Yes, chapter 2 is more of a filler, but it still has some important info-what's happening with Hermione and also some of Severus' thoughts. I like the way he sucks up to old Voldie, lol. Don't worry about updating rarely, it's frustrating for the readers, but if a story is good, I always check for updates. There's one story on ff.net that I read an year ago and the lady has updated only twice since then, but I still check from time to time :) I understand what it's like when you have a surge of inspiration and start something, but suddenly you aren't sure what to do with it. I hope you work it out, this is a promising story. If you want to bounce some plot ideas, you can write to emichka84@abv.bg, friends tell me I'm good at picking other people's brains. :)

your story made me very curious.You seem to want to reinvent the whole Harry Potter Universe.So Hermione is the one meant to bring down the Dark Lord,and Snape will become her guardian.I love it when somebody takes JKR's characters and tries to make up a whole new story.I cannot wait to read more.LOL Sureves Epans
