just please tell me you won't take down your stories. that drives me nuts!! i understand being burnt out, wanting to write something new, but i hate when authors delete everything so we can't enjoy it later on our own. so, please keep us updated on your new projects, but i hope i can go back and reread my fave msfigg stories when i'm in the mood for good, raunchy fun!

thanks for all the great stories in my fave ship. i know we all appreciated the stories you gave us.

At first, I was going to adapt all my stories to my new world and new characters. I did adapt Love Bites and took it down. I was going to do The Ring next. But you know . . . it's damn boring. lol. Adapting the stories and changing them but not adding anything new. So I decided just to do the two stories and leave the others up. I have Love Bites fully completed and have a couple of people going over it . . . then I got all these sad emails about the story and how people liked it and were upset I took it down, and I just couldn't stand it. So the publishers are going to have to wait (right, lol, like they're clamoring). I am reposting Love Bites and leaving up all my fanfics. I'll just have to write something completely original, and honestly, that's what I want to do anyway. lol. So it all works out. So don't worry. I'm also leaving the Burning Pen up. Hell, I did a lot of freaking work on that site. No way I'm just going to toss it. Who knows, I might want a little break from my own world once in a while. :::shrugs::: So don't worry. The fics will stay. But I hope you'll check out what I'm developing over at ruthrsolomon.com. Even if you're not into original works, you might find my journey and approach interesting. I'm going to keep everyone apprised of what I'm doing and how things are going and what's working and what isn't. Maybe it will be helpful to others who want to strike out on their own, even if it just shows them what not to do. lol. Much love. Ruth

I can't even begin to tell you how much I have loved your stories. You brought so much depth and life into each of your stories...I really hate that you won't be writing any more Severus/Hermione fics, but I can understand the need to move on. You have a gift with words and I wish you well in whatever you decide to do...and for what it's worth I would gladly buy your books should you choose to write a series...just let me know where I can find them! ^_^ You are a very gifted author. Thanks for sharing your stories with us.

But...but what about Yuletide? Will it have no more parts? *sigh* Anyway I am a great fan of yours and will miss you terribly when I visit the S/H section. Maybe someday you'll come back? I hope so but I wish you luck with writing original, if you do get published please say so here because I love your writing style and even if Snape and Hermione are not involved I am sure it will be just as good. Oh especially if it has Adam and Victor!

Jaylynn: lol. Maybe I'll have to make an alternative slash world for Adam and victor. They really are a delicious couple even though I've never really got into slash. I've written two stories with slash, "Acting on a Dream" with Harry and Snape, and a slash/het entitled "Remorse" which is really twisted with Harry and Hermione having to sexually make up their wrongs to the Potions masters, and . . . well finding themselves hooked on him. lol. Unfortunately, I'm limited and can't give the stories the tenderness that would be appealing . . . both are revenge fics on the part of Snape. Reaming Harry is a dark pleasure for him, and doing both of them even moreso. lol. He's really bad in both. But, somehow that makes it yummier. Man, I digressed. I think it has something to do with the rather large Figgdrivers I've imbibed tonight. (RecipeL Orange juice, Red Bull and a liberal amount of distilled vodka) But thank you for being supportive. All of you in fact. I feel so blessed. ****
