Chapter 1 (one-shot): This was an awesome experience to read. Lyrical, emotional, evocative of the bright, burning light and soft, tender relationship that was forged on a battlefield and became, amazingly, so much more. You have a lovely gift for writing emotions that sweep right into the reader's heart. Truly wonderful.

Nice start. Very deep, beautiful written and...hmm.. maybe touching is a good word, I'm not sure. What I'm sure is that this is interesting and not banal, so keep going :)
