I love the web weaving, and I'm very glad that Draco realizes that Harry's doing it on purpose. You're great at describing their thoughts and feelings, though I'd love to hear a bit more about the scenes--sometimes they're hard to picture.

Aww, I feel sad for Harry. The world he's worked so hard to create is crumbling and he can't really control it, can he? However, change can be a good thing, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for a good outcome. ;)

For the chapter, the action scene was great. I love it when Harry throws around spells as I have a thing for kick-ass Harry. Lol.

The progression in Draco's and Harry's feelings are great; I just hope they don't lose themselves too much. I can't wait to see how things progress from here.

First, I really like the story, but in 22 chapters, I think Harry and Draco should have been much closer, if not finally together. I hate to say this, but the last several chapters are just like the old saying,"your beating a dead horse". It's the same thing in each chapter, over and over which isn't a good idea for keeping the readers attention. Or, wanting to continue reading the story to its completion. Even though the locations, etc change, Draco gets close to Harry, Harry backs away again, and again. It's like hollering wolf too many times, people will fail to listen. This in turn makes for a boring read. You need to get on with it, and quit delaying the inevitable. This is just a point of view from someone who has probably read over 500+ Harry/Draco slash stories. When I start getting bored, it means something. I hope this helps, it's not meant as a flame by any means.

Conscious MPD really is a good description. Conscious or not, it's really creepy to see Harry so casually "reconstruct" his personalities like that. It's actually almost heart-breaking to see that Harry feels this need to live his life like this.
Great chapter. Awesome potion by Draco; he really is a Potion Masters.

Oooo! Oh my god, rather than Harry shifting to another persona to fight the Aurors, he deferred to Draco! What a massive moment! It gave me such a swirling, stomach fluttery feeling! Wonderfully well done, it was impossible to miss the significance of that moment! You are brilliant! I loved the way you've shown Harry's affections in this chapter, subtle and yet blatant, how do you manage that? Needless to say, I am thoroughly impressed. The fact that Harry seems unaware of how deep his emotions for Draco run is so satisfying and I love being just as surprised as he is, when he realizes he moved forward and not Draco...oh god, so small and shocking and pleasing and perfect. Draco's feelings are much more detailed and better expressed so I am much better informed as to his motives and emotions and I believe that's because Harry is so out of touch with himself, his true self, I mean, the one "Draco would probably call the

Hi! Just wanted to say I adore your story! I discovered Changing of the Guard a couple days ago and it has quickly become one of my favorites. Your writing style is so unique and strong and captivating.

My, Harry certainly is an enigma in this story. It seems every chapter a little bit more of him is revealed. I like that. And he's a perfect match for this Draco, an unsolvable mystery to keep him engaged.

As for the last chapter (21), I love where the story is heading. One thing that I can't stop mulling though... Draco has figured out that Harry is VERY practiced in disguising himself, even if he doesn't know why-- wouldn't it seem a little too intentional for Harry to have his love bite so visible when he obviously has the skills to cover it up? That would have set off alarms if I were Draco. But then, I'm not Draco. ^____~

Well, that's just my thoughts. Awesome story, once again, and I can't wait for the next chapter!!

Draco seems to realize the danger he was in. Is his wish to get through to the "real" Harry greater than his sense of self-preservation, at least at this point?

I loved how in this scene you have them connected at first, physically, emotionally and mentally, and how that connection is gradually undone, first the mental part, then the emotional one, then the physical one.
I like how in this story it seems to be their bodies leading the way, being the more direct and honest ones, and maybe the wiser ones, connecting with ease whenever they are together, as if mocking their respective minds for making things so unnecessarily complicated, when all they would have to do would just to be together to make things right.
Well, Draco is in fact paying attention to what he is being shown and it

I think that this Harry is bordering on psychosis, the only thing keeping him sane the fact that he seems to be mostly aware of what he is doing when creating a new version of himself to present to the world, or in this case, Draco.
On the other hand, as long as he stays on this side of psychosis, all this makes him a truly fascinating person, living out all the numerous facets of his personality, certainly someone that Draco will not get bored with for a long time.

Is there a small element of vinctive pleasure Harry feels for being able to hurt and fool (as Elizabeth) Draco? As payback for upsetting his world and insisting on staying in his life?
Maybe a small element, but it does seem to be there.

I like how Draco keeps switching between his deeply Slythering side, calculating and perceptive, whenever necessary to keep up with Harry

Yeah after this last chapter, things seem to be touch and go with the little game thier playing. I don't understand why Haryy just doesn't give in to what he's feeling for Draco. I mean i know he's got Metamorphosis to think about but chances are he won't be going back to that anytime son. Draco looks like he's falling for Harry's game and it makes me wonder how long theyre gonna play the back and forth game. I'm getting a little overwhelmed. Also, what is Lucious doing?
