do you still want reviews? i hope you feel better knowing that like two or three years later someone is reading your work and i see what you mean about reviews i used to think it was naff but then i started writing and understood how much they mean to you and i must say i quite like this story there are a few errors which i think should of been corrected along the way but only small things like spelling mistakes and the thing with ron getting a T in potions though they were talking about transfiguration... but overall alright so far

I really do like the plot, but there's a bit of constructive critism I have for you. One;;Ron entering Hermione's dorm? In the series, it specifically says that boys can not enter the girls' dormitory, or the stairs turn into a slide and force them out. Two, in the beginning of chapter eight, you say Draco is in Arithmancy, but then say his father wanted him taking history? Arithmancy is similar to math, it has to do with numbers and the meanings of them in common lives and names, ect. But I honestly am enjoying this story!

hey fuckin awesome story there...... i absolutely luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrvvvvvvvveeed the draco- mione kissing part. it was hot!!!
but i wish i could see more of it........ hopefully i'll see some steamy snogging sessions in the next chap??

I generally review every time I read a chapter. Even on crap stories. Personally, I don't feel that this story is crap. More to the point, this story is very very good. You have a lot of talent and a very original story. I don't see why you would abandon it because of a few selfish people who don't review. You also have to realize that there are a few things working against you.
1) You don't have to sign up or be logged in to read this story, but you do if you want to review something. There are a lot of people who won't sign up for an account if they don't have to.
2) You begged for reviews and threatened to withhold the story without them. Personally, while I do review all the stories I read maybe 85% of the time, I purposely won't review when an author does that. Its kind of insulting and more often that not, will result in "well, fuck you" from the reader. There are a lot of people who willingly review all the time who won't when they see authors post crap like that. Especially when I've been reviewing a story and all of a sudden its not good enough? Go fuck yourself.
3) Content. I like this story and I'm definitely 100% not telling you to change it, but I've noticed that on AFF, people generally get more hits on yaoi/gay material than they do on straight stuff. This story is Hermione/Draco. You are already at a disadvange, so don't compare yourself to others. You have a smaller audience from the start.
You might have to accept that people will not always review as much as you desire. This might suck, but don't give up all together. Maybe you should focus on your hit count rather than your review count. It will be an indication of exactly how many ungrateful bastards there are actually reading and enjoying this, which should be a far more satisfying number. If that still isn't good enough... try being more proactive about getting reviews. Try writing review response. (Since you get so few of them it shouldn't be hard, right??) Honestly, people like being personally responded too and thanked for their reviews. I'm sure its a pain in the ass, but it would encourage more responses.
Anyway, maybe you found this helpful. Maybe you didn't. Maybe it won't matter because you've already decided to abandon this project. Although if you do decide to go in that direction (dont, but if you do...), then could you at least post an A/N good bye notice with a spoiler ending just to let us know how it would have ended? Cause I'd really like to know. >:P

hahaha well since you demanded it I thought I didn't have a choice.
hmm I don't know. They've been going in this silly little circle of hatred for so long, I was a little tired of Draco's maliciousness in this chapter. I did however love the moment of blinking. It opened a nice little hole into their circle of hate. I want to know what will stretch that hole into a circle of love...or sex. hehe
